Do try to stay on Topic .... Los Blancos are European & Spannish champions nothing to do with EPL 2021/22 which concluded last week. Ref to Notts Forest v Huddersfield on here is just about on topic as the winners get EPL status for next season

The Liverpool FC needs to sort out its fans. That should include some lessons on how to distinguish a fake ticket from a real ticket. It reflects very poorly on the EPL when people who claim to be Liverpool supporters misbehave when outside Blighty.

According to at least a couple of respected French sports commentators who witnessed the situation, it seems that the ones trying to crash the Liverpool gates were described as "local kids without tickets." That's French kids BTW.

Predictably, someone in French government is doubling down on the Scouse bashing as they are listening to the police and security who are reporting, "Ticketless Liverpool fans trying to get in."

Didn't 'Wembley Way' experience a similarly uncontrollable situation with ticket less fans crashing the gates during the Euros? That was also fobbed off on drunk hooligans instead of the woefully inadequate and untrained "security".

Conflicting tales. I'm not sure if we'll get a clear answer. The ground seems to have handled the Real Madrid fans OK. Perhaps too many low quality fans and chancers at the Liverpool entrances. I doubt there were thousands of dodgy tickets. I would if Johnson had been giving thousands of them out.

FA have given Lampard a Thirty Thousand quid fine for telling the truth ....... go figure
They have also (Finally) charged Richarlason for throwing the flare back into the crowd. Weird one this, as when it happened it was in clear view of TV cameras (and VAR) , and before he let go I shouted at my TV "dont, its a red card" and was amazed when no action was taken at the time. Now a month later they charge him when the season has finished.
What would have happened if he'd been red carded in 46th min and served a three match ban?
Everton went on to win that game 1 - 0 v Chelsea .... could Chelsea have equalised v 10 men? then they got 4 pts from the next 3 games which he played a major part in, so perhaps Burnley can feel a bit aggrieved as they were 4 pts behind with a better goal difference

I haven't seen the flare incident. I think a player throwing an active flare into a crowd should be a matter for the police. If the police weren't involved, I gather what he did wasn't dangerous.

I see 10 lads were convicted of a ghastly murder in or near Newcastle. Losers.

#OTD in 1985, Everton were denied the chance to conquer Europe after UEFA banned English clubs. A terrible misjustice in which the players, fans and club as a whole were let down by UEFA and the British Government. #EFC

Will Fwankie boy have to pay his own 30,000 quid fine or will Everton pay it and charge it to the covid loses account?
