Farang style gas ovens are not very common here in Thailand. I was looking for one in chiang mai and it was difficult to find. We found one in a small local appliance store in the area. It was made by Sanyo. I think I remember seeing some in Global home in chiang mai. You may try the one in Udon...I can not remember the prices but they were not cheap. Also take a look in Index store...

I bought the Sanyo from Makro a while back, about 5000baht, but has no thermostat. I have seen gas ovens in both Home Pro and Global with temp control but much more baht.

As you're going from the center circle to the clock circle, on the right hand side about half-way between circles, there's a 3-story appliance store (name escapes me) with the blue half-circle plastic covering by the door. On the third floor there are Sanyo and Whirlpool stoves. About 7000-ish baht. One of the salesmen speaks excellent English. They deliver...and if your appliance has a problem, they service it as well.
