I was there yesterday, still in the exact same location as my previous visit, albeit with a much reduced footprint, and substantially less stock. The assistant advised us that a new M&S outlet will open shortly inside Central.

I believe M n S have pulled out of a full time perminant outlet in Central Udon .. ?? with all the stock being sold off via the pop up paste table near the 2nd floor bogs to the local Udon expat Joks and ther wee lassys .

Im told the Songkhla Rowies man is sending regular deliveries to Udon as well ?? .. all be it on a bicycle to save on dl charges.

Many years ago in my formative youth, I was taught a very salutary lesson by my mother, it was DEAL / SALE etc, is only benifical if the item you see is a NEED, and not a WANT . I read so much about Foods on offer, well after all the time here, many foods previously on the NEEDS list have dissipated into , never mind, for example, when first here Pies were a rarity as was the choice of Cheeses , and Pork Pies and good sausages equally rare.
Now all those tasty foods are available from many places, so a deal is no longer an essential part of my daily requirements but keep up the good wpork folks, you never know your deals might just spark some interest....lol

Haud yer wheesht

Used to tell someone to be quiet or shut up. The hallmark of Scottish motherhood since time immemorial.

Blether

Catching up, gossiping and talking for extended periods of time would all fall under the umbrella of ‘having a blether’. Best done over a cup of tea or dram of whisky.

Skite

To go out on the skite means to have a (usually alcohol-fuelled) night out. Some of the most legendary nights on the skite take place in Edinburgh’s thriving bars, pubs and clubs.

Yes the sale is still on and the sign says up to Jan 31. Less food more accessories
Happy shopping.
Stay safe.
I trawled around Central this afternoon and could not find the M&S pop up. Even went to Information and received the usual BS info reserved for farangs. Sorry Paul, nae oatcakes. Cost me 14K in gold shop for wifey's late Xmas present though. :(
Being a pop up shop it maybe folded in, 14k you got off lightly, that's for 12 months less than one round of golf a month
On top of everything else, and me just a 'poor pensioner' not an oil and gas squillionaire like someone I know. :-"

In fact most beers here are like Gnats Pee, but then to each their own, keep up the good work on trawling through the shops for deals .

Agree! Dunkin donuts here are nothing like Dunkin donuts in the US. Last one I tried I got a mouth full of grease. 🤮
