Long Ago Plants

Many Thais who are older long for plants that used to be ubiquitous......found in their yard, rice field, along the road. Many of these plants are now difficult to find due to development.
There's a large group of nurseries in the Rangsinee area.......a small road just before the BMW dealer or another entrance just before you make the turn off of Dutsadee Rd to the old Lotus.
Among some of the many unusual plants

ผักติ้ว phaktio Cratoxylum formosum
ต้นหว้า Jambul
ต้นหว้า Jambul Syzygium cumini
แคนา kahna Dolichandrone serrulata

For those who like pines:
wollemia pine......some of the really old guys from Australia may be familiar with it.
And they also carry loads of mango, tamarind, pepper, mint, eggplant, etc etc etc
