Anybody know a place...
1) Close to either BigGymCity fitness, or the Physical Education College
2) Kitchen
3) safe enough to leave on a trip away for a couple weeks and everything will not be gone when I get back
4) A/C
5) Bed, TV, wardrobe... don't need much furniture really
6) THB <= 8000
7) sharing a room in a house might be okay... if roommate is not a smoker or massive partier

Thank You!!!

As Bob said, there are some nice 2 bed bungalows in First Home Village often available. I pay 3500 Baht for mine and am very happy with it.

When I was in Udon this time last year, Zeke, the owner of Big Gym City, was planning to build some apartments behind the gym. I don't know if he ever did, but it wouldn't hurt to inquire.

what exactly defines a bungalow? does this mean just a one story ranch configuration?
3500B that sounds like the deal of the year? unfurnished? i'm getting kind of claustrophobic
with apt living, having a little extra space or private outdoor area would be really nice. :-s

A bungalow is a single storey building. Don't know about ranches though, can't keep much head of cattle in my little garden.

yes, that would be considered a one story ranch, as we call in the states, but not a lot of square footage, or garden/yard areas, unless having extra lot. which is a plus or minus for some people. fine for a couple w/kid, especially for the price.

So, seems that there is nobody who knows anything available around BigGymCity Fitness or the PEC :( unless there is a decent fitness place near First Homes... think I will have to pass on that. thx anyway
