Went in last night and had a few beers complements of Steve and the place is looking very good with the new layout.

The menu is good and the prices even better. Draft cider will be on by saterday 130 bt a pint now that is good also there will be tetlys in a can 130 bt

Yes. Terry, the co-manager, said you can negotiate a rate for long term stays. They already have some long stays. The place is looking good, I wish them success.

The City Lodge opens this Saturday 24th July at 3.30pm serving free food.

Good to see it will be back to its old self,twas the place for me 3 years ago for the breakfasts,now if they can put roasts on the menu in the near future then very tempting. Pool table as well for a few games =D>

Just back in Udon for a few weeks and decided to give City Lodge a try since it is under new management.
I can say I have been very impressed with Arthur and Terry. They are really trying to make a go of it. The rooms are very good and the food is the best it has been since Andy and his crew left.

They are trying to make a go of it without hiring a bunch of girls. They would like to have a place where you could bring your wife or kids without being hassled. A place to just have a beer or food and talk or shoot pool without bother.

They are looking for good ideas. If you have ideas as to what should be added, or deleted, they are certainly willing to listen. They are having an all you can eat roast every Sunday starting 29 Aug. as a way to get people to try the place

Pop in and give them a try. They are really a couple of nice guys trying to make a go of it

Maybe some of us are old fashioned but roasts are traditionally done on a Sunday,healthy competition is good for Udon

Saw their flyer about this,price 170 baht and one free drink with every meal with the flyer.Time quoted was midday until 4pm or until all food has gone!
