Transport Airport to city

What is te best way to get into the city from the airport that is cost effective?

walk out of the baggage claim area and go straight, by the exit, there is a minivan service booth and cost 80 to 90 baht

The minivan desk is just to the right of and immediately before the exit doors.

The advantage of the minivan is that it is cheap.

As far as I know the service operates from just after the first arrival to just after the last arrival.

It's disadvantages are:

It takes a pre-defined 'route' through the city, so if you are at the end of the route then it can take a while.
It is a minivan, so space for luggage is very limited indeed.
If the van is not full then it may well wait for the next flight to arrive.

An alternative, but more expensive, way home to the city is just go to the minivan desk & say you want a taxi. You will get a ride almost immediately. There will be no mention of the word TAXI anywhere on the vehicle. It will cost 200 baht. I normally use & have never been disappointed, although I am unsure what impact the airport parking changes will have on this system..
