If its a mole then you must get a biopsy to check it for cancer, I go once every year to the Bumrungrad skin clinic for a complete check, believe it or not there prices are quite reasonable and they are very thorough. A wart and a mole is a bit like comparing the tropics to the north pole!

100% correct Coxo

I have just been to the Bumrungrad Skin Clinic ( not beauty skin aligned etc )

The guy I see is an Assoc Professor of Dermatology , yearly checks , as I had a nasty bugger removed a few years ago.

a total of 23 were removed with Laser, inc a few skin tags this time

19000, included all the medications, emlar cream, local anaesthetics, and Laser , 3 hours all up as it takes an hour for the cream to work etc..

Uses the UV scan also to identify any changes to the skin tone, which cant be seen with the naked eye

And once again a post drifts off into oblivion.......

Skinner hope you get a competent doctor to help you on what can be a serious problem.
Lots of UM members require or have had the need for a good skin check.
Let us know your end result.

Most likely not done as no pathology onsite to conduct the review. No excuse not to send it away anyway.

Keep an eye on it no matter what and any regrowth or bleeding around the wound site. Get a Good review done.

Melanomas are like an iceberg. U only see the top 10%.
