Who's Your Money On.

Post by vlad » November 30, 2018, 1:39 am

Big night of Boxing on Sunday early hours UK time between Deontay Wilder vs Tyson Fury aka the fighting gypsy. The record says easy fight for Wilder but Fury has beaten most including klitscho and has lost a massive 10 Stone he talks a good scrap and backs it up, but its in Los Angeles so anything could happen.

Easy night for Fury. Wilder ko'd before 6th. Fury to have a 3stone weight advantage. Wilder has been knocking over bums and old men, never took on anyone in Furys league. My opinion.

I think Fury is a better boxer and if he can stay away from the big punches, he can win. Wilder can knock him out with one punch.

It went about the way I expected except I never thought it could go the distance. Fury is the better and smarter boxer but Wilder is stronger and has a better chin. Had Fury had not gotten careless in the final round, he would have won the fight.

All the ringside judges had Fury ahead with only the 11 round going on wilder most American commentators as i had it streamed on Showtime admitted fury should have won even the knockdowns. As for Wilder being the stronger most boxers knocked down by wilder would have stayed down but fury got up. He was robbed simply.

'Course he was. You were already making excuses as far back as your initial post.
its in Los Angeles so anything could happen.
Predictable response. "He wuz robbed!"

Perhaps if "furry" spent more time upright and conscious those robbers wouldn't have such an easy time of it.

I agree, Fury should have won the fight. The champion is always given the edge. The challenger must win decisively.

Of course he was cheated mech, out of it 2 judges 1 Brit judge 2 American judges, its not the first time a brit was cheated out of a title the same happened to Lennox Lewis. The Queensbury rules are followed by most but if your a Brit fighting on American soil these rules don't apply.

Apparently the judge who went against Fury was British.
Some judges are "homers", they like to be invited back (another payday) so don't cause waves.

Boxing is no doubt corrupt. It's not how the judges see the fight, it's how they are paid to see the fight and come up with the wild score cards. I didn't have a favorite and really didn't car who won. Needless to say, I thought there was no doubt that Fury won.

I can't see the British judge giving wilder the decision.. British fighters will now think about fighting in the US from now on.

Then why are you still squirming over the draw if it was pre-planned? If it was all a set-up, Furry pulled a convincing con-job of wriggling about on the canvas with his eyes rolled back in his head. Top marks. It looked convincing.
