I have replied to this under the Udon Girls Home subject.

Death in the villages

Post by FrazeeDK » July 7, 2006, 6:48 pm

you must also realize that way out in the rural areas when someone dies of whatever disease, it is commonly accepted and not questioned. People get sick and they die.. This leads to problems with understanding the spread of any disease, not only AIDs, but perhaps Avian Influenza too. Many rural folks will not go to government clinics or to provincial hospitals whatever their affliction may be.

This is unconscionable and has nothing to do with ignorance. He's evil.
This is disgusting. Let's hope this person dies sooner rather than later

A sad little tale from our village that aptly illustrates the Thai laisez fare attitude to aids.
This week a woman aged 40 died from the disease, this is her history. She was married to a Thai man, had one kid then divorced, married again, Thai, had another daughter. Three years later the 2nd died from aids so remarried the first ex without telling him the history, divorced him , went to work in Japan, sex worker, came back when her symptoms started showing. Now shes dead the 1st husband is positive, as is the younger daughter, so far the oldest is clear. God knows how many nippons were infected in her 3 year working there.Right up to the day of her death despite looking all skin and bones, she denied having aids.
Make of that what you will

Careful subject matter deserves more attention by the government in the course of awareness and education. One of the friends ****** with a prostitute and after returning home made a health check league after 5 months of practice found that he had been infected with AIDS .. He believed that in the distant future of Pattaya and Bangkok more safe but found the opposite. So be careful and not risk it in health

You have just replied to a subject from 2006.
I think in the years since then we are all more informed about aids & the precautions to take.
