That website listed on the advert is a dud. You might want to confer with them for the actual link or photoshop it out of the pic.

No monthly rate when I was there in January 2012, I think it was 400 per night. Nice place and good people working there.

I would think it would be around 8000 baht per month, maximum. :-k
But if you are staying in a hotel for a few days beforehand it will give you a chance to check out a few places.
Centara,Pannarai,Udon@home and Charoen are all within walking distance of The One Residence,as an example.....5 mins walk from Centara(Central mall),10 mins from Pannarai and Udon@home and 15 mins from Charoen.
The Karin hotel is only a few minutes walk from Udongreenville, which is another decent place to stay maybe a little more expensive, but you could still check it out.
However, from what I can gather, the Karin isnt such a great place to stay, even for a few days,so you are probably better staying at one of the four centrally located hotels mentioned above and arrange your own transport to look at Udongreenville.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Would seem to be their web site, but not much in the way of detail & the English section just doesn't work.

Tel.042-244-330
might be the best way to get answers, but I suspect that a Thai speaker would be required...

When I was at udon back in 08 i had A hard time finding A vacancy at A hotel. In 2009 I set up reservations at Top Mansion.
With the large amount of hotels in Udon now,it looks like ya don't need to make reservations again.

I stayed at Kings Hotel for a night on my first visit. 200THB per night and that was expensive for what I got, It was what I'd imagined a Thai prison to look like. I tried two other places first and they were full so I just took it as I was about to pass out. Never taking that chance again so I book at least one night somewhere decent for when I arrive.
