The city will be opening 10 public bike stations around town on 18 Jan 2015 with a total of 80 bikes. Some of the stations include Nongprajak Park (near the tourist office), in front of Central Mall, UD Town, the Sports Complex, and in front of the ancestral shrine.
According to officials, people interested in using the service must pay 320 Baht for an electronic card that covers fees for the card, rider insurance, and 100 baht reserved toward renting the bikes. If the bike is used for more than one hour, 20 baht will be deducted from the reserved amount. The article says that there will be no charge for bikes used less than one hour.

what a good idea . ive often wanted to try a little cycling . my friendgirl even expressed some interest in
getting some exercise. we asked at that asia backpacker place ( theyve got 3-4 for rent) and the girl wanted
prices / terms comparable to renting a motorbike which is why their cycles never rent out
