Terrible loss Macca in that it was 16 points and we missed 7 or 8 pretty easy shots at goal. Sucking, Johanassen and Murphy not playing is really affecting our ball use. But everyone has injuries and we have to cover them. Bad kicking is bad footy at the end of the day.
Bring on Adelaide next week.

A couple of weeks ago I thought the Blues had a 50% chance of winning two of there next four games they have now achieved that,so will now have to wait and see what the next two weeks bring maybe they can make it four out of four.

Granted they are not playing top sides only ones on the same level as they are a good confidence booster though.

I read one writer describe Norths and the Doggies as a middle weight contest. I think they're both looking pretty heavy middleweights this year. I hope the Doggies or even Norths do a Leicester.

Like many followers of AFL, I enjoy taking the piss out of Carlton but I think they're now heading in the right direction. They have turned towards modern coaching methods. Sure, they aren't going to win a premiership for a while, but I expect they won't be getting another wooden spoon in the near future. I understand the Moran family kept one of the Carlton premiership flags for an indecent period. I hope they gave last year's wooden spoon to Judy Moran for keeps. :D

Good to see the Blues continue their charges to the finals with a comprehensive hiding over Essendon.
Hope to leap frog the arch enemy next game. :-"

Well done to the blues and I bet the wobbles are shaking in their boots on their flight home from WA. :D
GT the 5 players the dogs have lost over the last three weeks have relegated us to a mid level team but the unbeaten north are certainly a heavyweight along with (the AFLs club) GWS and Geelong. If flags were won in April one of them would win it.

Great day for the blues Macca (and Barney). Poor old Eddy hasn't got a poker face and he was as dark as Kamal every time they put a camera on him in the last few minutes.
Too bad that Wazza and I couldn't make it to the docklands tonight. Looked as though it was a great game. Will have to catch the replay tomorrow.

The pressure will be increasing on Eddie's football love child. Perhaps Eddie needs to move on as well. I expect he'll lash out at the Swans soon as is his habit when things aren't as he thinks they should be.

History says the eight are pretty much all settled by now and the Pies aren't there.

On a serious side has anyone heard from Downunder?
I'm sure he should be on here ripping in about the blues run of good play the last few weeks.
The blues need a s much positive comment as possible aw ay from the other supporters who already think the 8 is finalized.
Hope he is in good health?
I'll give him a bell when I am home next.

Thanks Macca,

I'm sure he's fine, just thinking of him, as he was pushing his score along a bit in the age stakes.
If you want a number I can PM the last I had.

The vultures are circling Bucks. Malthouse, of course, couldn't resist encouraging them. Bucks' skin isn't looking too flash at the moment. It's not 40 degrees in the tropics that's causing that.

We'll all be glued to the Bombers - Norths game this weekend which should be a beauty. Footy at it's finest.

The Carlton game will again be worth following this weekend as will the Doggies against an improving Demons.

From my seat Watson's grip on the Brownlow seems extraordinary. Is the AFL brave enough to test it?

I guess a one point win to the Tigers over the Swans could be as good as fifty points.

wazza has been quiet this morning.
