Manchester City 1 Southampton 1
In many ways this mirrored the Arsenal v Middlesborough game the day before when the visitors were the better side in the first half but hanging on at the end.An excellent point for the Saints who seem to be improving with each game.
Just one point separates the top 5 in the Premiership.....great stuff !

Chelsea 4 Manchester United 0
Sadly United are not in the top 5 and their current standard is nearer that of Southampton,Everton,Watford and Bournemouth than the top clubs ! =; When you consider the amount of money they have spent in the last 3 years,that is pretty disgraceful.
Last night was a shocking,gutless display and I was cringeing with embarrasment watching that performance.
There best players on the night (Valencia,Herrera,Rashford and Mata) were average at best.....the rest truly awful,although you couldn't really blame de Gea too much.
Smalling and Blind were particularily shocking,Pogba looks more of an 8.9m player than 89m and,when he isn't scoring,Ibrahimovic is a luxury the team cant afford.
That said,Chelsea played some excellent stuff and Conte certainly seems to have found the right formula with the big bonus of Hazard being back to his best.
Just when I thought our chance had passed,you go and save the best for last.

But as Bob said a couple of months back he WILL score against all but the best defenses :-" :-" :-"

he just didn't realise at the time that virtually all the defenses in the EPL are "THE VERY BEST" :fryingpan:

Just because Pog & Ibro were head & shoulders above anything in Italy/France etc doesn't mean they are good enough for the Premier League :-$

I'm off to Vientiane tomorrow for a long weekend, so here are the weekend's Premiership fixtures.

Do not forget that British Summer Time ends at 2am Sunday so after that there is a 7 hour difference between the times shown & Thai time rather than the current 6 hours...

Well Gayle isn't there to haunt them this season :lol:

Have we just seen one of the best cases of "Impact subs" ever in the Prem ....Giroud ? ..... No (He was good but didn't have the Impact of Adnan Januzaj ....

70 th min came on as Sub with the score 1 - 1
71st min Arsenal score
74th min Arsenal SHOULD have scored if Ozil knew what the bits of wood on the pitch were for :evil:
76th min Arsenal Score
78th min Arsenal Score

8 mins 3 should have been 4 goals and thats allowing for celebrations and kick offs =;

The late match ended up Crystal Palace 2 Liverpool 4 which puts Liverpool joint top on points with Manchester City and Arsenal but 3rd on goal difference.
The first half was excellent with 5 goals......Liverpool look very good going forward but a bit dodgy in defence.
For Palace it was there third defeat in a row but at least they were on BeIn 1 instead of BeIn 7 ! ;)

United,39 attempts on goal with 19 corners but no goals thanks to superb goalkeeping by Heaton and great defending by the Burnley centre backs.United played quite well,I thought,but wayward finishing and bad luck cost them.

A great substitution by Wenger to bring on Giroud.I don't know why he doesn't start him because he's always had a good goalscoring record in the EPL.Sunderland look doomed and have to look forward to their big game against Scunthorpe next season now !
Citeh back in the groove with Khun Aguero starring.....

Don't forget tonights matches have a 7 hour time difference because of changing the clocks in the UK.Have you got that 747man ?? =;
So Everton v West Ham is at 8.30pm Thai and Southampton v Chelsea is on at 11pm.....two close games,on paper at least.
Just when I thought our chance had passed,you go and save the best for last.
