Laundry that uses hot water to wash and hot air to dry

Post by jingjai » November 27, 2016, 10:02 am

Looking for a laundry that uses HOT water to wash clothes, and uses HOT-AIR dryer to dry the clothes?
I only need it for a one or two time usage.
Any suggestions?

I'd actually like this info too.. saves me buying a hot wash machine for 2 x a year whites.. slowly but surely my M&S shirts n stuff need a hot blast!

Addendum.. I think we can count on Pooclover and ting_tong for the hot air.. ;-)

I think for that you may have to sit it up at your home. Not jus skid marks white really are white with hot water and bleach

Before someone asks me about my request...this is why:

Last year while in the States, I bought myself six pairs of shorts. Good quality, name brands, at a great price.
When I bought them, they fit perfectly. Albeit, a lttle snug. I figured I would lose a little weight after I returned to Thailand, and stopped eating so much Western food 2-3 times per day.

Due to a medical issue this past year, I've lost too much weight. So much so, the shorts are way too big on me now.

That is why I wrote: "I only need the service for a one or two time usage."

The only solution I've come up with is to have them washed and dried by a hotel with an in-house laundry.
If memory serves me correct, I remember staying at hotels before, that had around an eight hour turn around time.
Get your clothes to housekeeping before 8am, get them returned by 4pm.
Or, simply leave your clothes in a hotel laundry bag, outside your door, before going to bed. During the night, or early morning, the clothes would be collected, taken to the laundry, and returned that afternoon. Sometimes even still warm from the dryer.
The only flies in the ointment with that idea, is that I'd either have to be a guest at the hotel, or know someone in upper-management...which I don't.

Why not boil some water and pour it in a bucket with the shorts in it?
I hope I die in my sleep like my grand dad did, not screaming like his passengers

Stay one night at a hotel and get 'er done if the shorts mean that much to you. :)

We have a cheap n cheerful twin tub thing for washing shop towels, cat mats etc. Lives in the garden and we use a hose. Its only just dawned on me to fill it with hot water instead of cold! (10kw shower in house for bath prob = 2 tubs filled and trotted. My hot water shower can scald at 30 paces.)

Two points.. 1) I wouldnt have thought of this without this thread. Cheers.
2) Im pretty sure we paid about 8,000 for this twin tub thing in Makro. Cheap, cheerful.. clean. And always available for short short washes at various weights n temperatures.. ;-)

Very Nice thought, I think you should take help from your friend or any other person’s who has information about this or else you can use any app which can suggest you a laundry service where they use hot water.
