I have been a few times and it is good food there. Nice clean place with Aircon. The owners are Indian and have come from BKK where they were involved in Indian restaurants and were friendly and helpful on my visits.
I would recommend giving it a try.
Not sure what C's place is, All I can think off is Chris's Place.
Having eaten at most of the places that do Indian menu items in town. I would rate this place as a lot better than most.

Not on Soi Sampan, but easily within walking distance. Zoom the map and you'll see what I mean: https://www.resourceguide.udonmap.com/p ... restaurant

Went to the Primani today ..very nice AC setting but without going into great detail on the dishes we ordered n ate i can only say i tend to agree with joepai ..it was just JUST OK and i much prefer the Indian curries served at the Gallery and the frozen ones Dean at papafarangs used to supply.

You don't offend me but you annoy me. Not worth a PM. Have a good life.

The curries at Le Gallery are good, have to agree with DM, probably the best I've had in Udon to date.
The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

Mrs tam and I hit Primani's a few evenings back. Long overdue for a visit. I had a regular lamb curry, she had her favorite chicken tikka masala and we added a gobi aloo for the 3rd veggie dish with regular basmati rice. Also started with the 'loaded' popadums (2) which were really good. However, since the meal came with a couple of complimentary plain popadums anyway, I maybe should have had a naan instead. I added a Kingfisher which although a bit paeng at 140 baht for a 320 ml bottle, made the meal for me. Mrs tam just had water. Total bill was 649 baht so taking off my expensive beer, we agreed that it was a pretty reasonable for a delicious 3-plate meal with a starter. Only 1 other customer ahead of us so service was fast. Nice and quiet and clean.

We'll be going back.

Good to have another review haven't tried it yet but will been eating Indian food 40 years now and love it so must try. Have tried several in Bangkok and thumbs down to all except the one at Marvel Hotel SoI 18 If memory serves me right if in Bangkok a must

Must admit I miss the Le Gallery Indian Buffet was well worth the effort maybe need to start a forum to Kevin to bring it back
