Presumbly his hostesses have good ball control when playing! Must admit I tend to go to steve's bar for food but maybe should give his menu a go.Any ideas of what I should order there?

I visited Mojos with a mate last week for a few beers whilst the girls were shopping, sad to say a small bottle was 80 tb, a tad on the expensive side
I thought, (the same price as Mrs Tongs Bar), also one of the girls was out
of her brain (I presume on beer) and knocked over 1 of our drinks, the replacement was put on our bill - that didn't go down too well, so we moved to Steves bar, cheaper prices and better service - even got a free manicure off one of the girls whilst waiting for the TGF's to return.
Sorry to be negative, but I says it as I see's it.

True, his beers are higher than any place else in town.

Tried his Sunday Roast dinner - was not impressed at all.

C'mon Doc, you should know by now after your posting(s) about Nong's Ribs, that your opinion concering food isn't worth the time spent reading about it. 8)

I agree about the price of the beer, never tried the roast but was equally unimpressed as Doc was by Mojo's when I tried Steves roast next door.
I have only had one good roast in Thailand, Paul you know where I'm talking about :-#
All the other food I have tried in Mojo's has been excellent, especially the Lamb Burger, pricey but very tasty.
Saturday night is always good fun when the pool tournie is on even if you don't play.

Mally says it is 80 Baht for a small beer.... That is more then in Pattaya.... I like to go to Lucky Time bar in Soi Nern Plab Waan, aircon place with pool table, dart and free internet and a small Tiger is only 50 Baht.... I always thought was cheap up in Udon....

Right - speaking from experience. A small beer in Pattaya will cost anything from 65 baht in a remote bar to 125 in Walking street and up to 150 in Tony's or Lucifers disco. 80 baht is hardly more expensive than Pattaya.!!

I have had the Sunday Roast Beef dinner in Mojos on quite a few occasions.
I dont know of many places where you can get (on average) 10 slices of roast beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, 3 kinds of vegetables and gravy - all for 99 baht.
I think that even if it was free some people would still complain !!!!

We have a choice gentlemen. If you think the beer is too expensive - then drink elsewhere - if you dont like the 99 baht Sunday Roast - then eat elsewhere.

I could never make a Roast dinner at home for 99 baht and can't believe that a restaurant makes a huge profit on it - but I will be there tomorrow for sure and will enjoy every last bit of it :)

99 baht - for goodness sake people - wake up !!!!

99 roast is just a gimmick you think your getting a good deal then they stiff you with the beer prices which are high for udon and they are more then pataya low season prices on avearage been a yorkshire man you do notice these things
the best sunday roast in udon is at the clock and for ban dung 80 km out of town well thats the five bell bar anybody who knows me will tell you iam a expert on stuffing my face

Its worth the 90 baht for a beer, if you shoot pool there, nice tables.

Some of the real cute girls there can shoot a good game of pool. I lost a few 20 baht notes playing for a "somtam"

And yes a Sunday roast for 99 baht is well worth the 99 baht!

I think this says it all
Other than this it's an ok bar, but there are many more around these days so they need to impress me to get my business again, and they didn't impress.
with the high price of beer (and there are 6 other days as well as Sunday for the roast) this bar has got to give me a reason to return, and it didn't, as for food, I am no expert in the UT eating out scene, but I tried the Irish Clock a couple of times and found it well worth the stroll, good consistant food that I enjoyed.
Should appologise to the 'locals' in the Clock though, I went in one evening with my mate & our two tgf's, my mate burst out laughing and woke everybody up !
A bit quiet for my taste, but the food is 1st class, and is there a cleaner loo in UT ?
I think not.

Not fair to compare Tony's or Lucifer which have live bands, with a bar/restaurant in Udon.... I have no idea what kind of bars you have to pay 125 B for a beer in Walking street, I go to Roo bar (Jan bar) and pay 65 B and that is right on walking street. I know other bars charge 70-80 B...

Anyway, judging from the Pictures of Mojo's, it is the kind of place I would like and with the right atmosphere it's never mind if a beer is 50 or 150 as long as I'm happy... Good luck to Mojo's and hope I can pay a visit to Udon soon...

I was replying to the post which said Mojos beer was more expensive than Pattaya!
Mojo sells beer at 60 baht, 70 baht and only heiny is 80 baht

Go try the breakfast and the roast dinner - both 99 baht
if you like it go again - if you don't go elswhere

(Incidentally Mojo's don't (more than) double the price of beer for Farangs like certain establishments mentioned above in pattaya)

* Food is great.

* Havent found so good pooltables anywhere else.

* The girls are given a break by working shifts.. AND they have a day off.

Thats why i like to go to Mojos now and then!!!
