Figured I would beat the rush and do some shopping. Figured the best place for no lines and everything I needed & a quick in & out, would be to hit a Chinese Market.
Boy was I wrong, que was tens on tens deep.
Why, you might ask?
Only letting in one shopper at a time because of Covid-19. Only in London.

They are doing this at some stores in Toronto. But it defeats the purpose of community distance between people as the people in line are packed close togetherRLTrader wrote: ↑March 20, 2020, 6:29 pmFigured I would beat the rush and do some shopping. You only pass through this life once, you don't come back for an encore.

I haven't seen the long lines in stores in Texas.....yet. Lots of people stocking up, and some, but few, shelves empty. the big stores like Costco and Walmart are restocking around the clock, so if a shelf is empty now, it could be restocked while you're in the store....or not. At Costco, there's an attendant at the front of the store handing out shopping carts that are pre-wiped down. On exit, there's an attendant offering hand sanitizer. Toilet tissue, paper towels, some cereals, rice.....and in some stores, beef, are hot items. Other than that, most everything is available.
