Are 72 hr notification to close consulate in Houston U.S. moves in to take over, no "Invasion of China". Remember this is NOT an Embassy, which has different rules.

America cant handle the covid crisis so lets Blame China.

America cant compete with China (despite printing trillions of Mickey Mouse dollars) so lets start a Cold War and pressure other countries to follow and isolate China.

Old tactic, in times of worsening economy Dont Take Resposibility But Just Blame Others.

Blaming doesnt work long time. Look at Japan, China, India, they became and are becoming the best economies globally bc being smart working hard, no blame game.

Closing consulate is just a political show for the upcoming elections, everybody knows that. its a show. just like the political covid response which is backfiring, also this closing will backfire.

^ I was only pre-empting the Xi Jinping viewpoint.

No hostages were taken.

It would be more impressive if the U.S.A. removed China from the Spratleys and the South China Sea.

At least it would be a diversion from masks, shields, gloves, and the whole virus thing.

With the added bonus of testing some of the U.S. military's newest, fanciest weapons and the convenient disposal of thousands of tons of ordnance that's near its use-by date.

The Taiwanese air force should be able to wipe out China's air force in a matter of hours. The Taiwan navy would occupy the ports, and the Communist leadership would follow the strategy of last Ming Emperor and try to seek refuge in Burma. At that point the remnants of the KMT and their descendants would put paid to the current Communist dynasty.

^ We're seeing a grand coalition if nations and navies that are fixing to put the CPC back in their bloody box. The C-i-C of this righteous crusade is Donald Trump, bless him.

The Brits are sending (their only) carrier and even the perpetual fence-sitting Aussies have FINALLY declared that man-made islands don't legitimize the CPC's farcical nine dash line claims.

The timing is right with China's domestic disasters, the pandemic meaning nobody wanting to buy their crap, their stock market tanking and money flowing out of the sht!thole like the inevitable Three Gorges dam break.

Beijing warns UK: You have no future if you try to sideline China

LONDON: China's ambassador to London bluntly warned the United Kingdom on Thursday that it had no future if it tried to decouple from the Communist state.

We can thank previous generations of American voters being more sensible than the 2016 voters. A president decades ago similar to President Trump would have resulted in nukes flying all over the planet.

China now behaves like the superpower it is. I think I recall reading that when the US military brass game conflict in China's neighbourhood, the US loses.

They've also had those THREE Cameron-commissioned subs in the Sarf (South) China Sea, ever since the econo crash of Oct 2008, innit, but they matter diddly-squat.
