I’ll put yesterday down as a good result for the Mighty Whites. MOT

With Everton’s current performance we can all look forward to a deluge of posts hopefully with correct use of the quote function. It’s not that difficult

Champions elect Everton thrash those giants of world football Brighton 4-2 to top the table. Paddy Power has stopped taking bets.

A win is a win is a win no matter the quality of the opposition. How is Everton getting these victories and goals? They might come a cropper soon but Everton seems to be playing aggressive, entertaining and delightful soccer so far. This is not to say they are better than Tranmere Rovers yet, but anything seems possible in this unpredictable year of covid.

I didn't realise that Evertons move to the new stadium was so close. Thought they would have waited till they finished playing at Goodison BEFORE they started the demolition work though.

Suppose CV19 has changed the plan to invite Leeds to play the last game at the old ground ...... with no fans they will still have to pay someone else to get the place demolished

Pep & Bielsa should be bloody ashamed ...... all that build up they were given ....... every pundit sayinng it will be a masterclass, and what do they produce ........ that load of rubbish
not sure whether it was more like basketball (up and down, up and down) or bloomin' rugby league (five passes and give the ball to your opponent) one thing it certainly wasn't, was a football match.
after the first 15 mins or so, not one player (including the usually calm KDB) had anything that could remotely be called control of the football ........ was there a defender on the pitch? why did neither of these so called "top" managers not have the ability to get his side to defend??

We played extremely well and definitely deserved the result, Antonio and Ogbonna were seriously brilliant and Coufal slotted in like he's played with the team for years. Dare I say it, if we play like this every week we have to be serious contenders.
