Grass Roots Footie 2018/19
Re: Grass Roots Footie 2018/19
I adjusted one of the settings. Please let me know if this happens again.
Re: Grass Roots Footie 2018/19
Yeah, but those couple of times would be an absolute rout, like Villa on Liverpool.Drunk Monkey wrote: ↑December 19, 2020, 12:21 amNo .. dont agree .. hyperthermically speaking .. i believe Scunny would beat the Scottish National side 8 times out ov 10 ..
but at least we are discussing Jock footy on the correct thread ..grass roots ,, not the EPL.

There's auld feckers and then there's really auld feckers... but I digress.AlexO wrote: ↑December 19, 2020, 10:27 amAs far as us auld feckers are concerned, anything under 45 is a youngster. Nae need to get your/their knickers in a twist. Getting back to the fitbaw SG will have a job no matter what, until the Pool call.
Gerrard is only managing an SPL team so he's not exactly cutting his managerial teeth up there. Perspective is paramount.

Up there!! Tam Your starting to sound like a lundoner who canny come oot the hoose already. Last 32 in Europe's second tier cup two years running. No 'too' shabby for someone just teething. Bet the youngsters are not just wearing scanties today, bloody cold.tamada wrote: ↑December 20, 2020, 6:54 amThere's auld feckers and then there's really auld feckers... but I digress.AlexO wrote: ↑December 19, 2020, 10:27 amAs far as us auld feckers are concerned, anything under 45 is a youngster. Re: Grass Roots Footie 2018/19
They look "good" because Celtic are playing an absolute shocker right now, that's all.
Which Championship team should re-import Gerrard? He's not fit for the EPL just because his team were one of 32 others in Europe two years running. Maybe the Blades will pick him up next season after the drop?
BTW, I've got an autograph book with all the genuine signatures of all the genuine Rangers players, manager and coaching staff from back around 1967. Scot Symon, John Greig, Örjan Persson, Andy Penman, Kai Johanson, Willie Henderson, Dave Provan, Alfie Conn are all in there.
Must be worth what these days... a fiver?

That's what happens in a "paperless society" where computers rule ......... scrap paper goes up in value
Re: Grass Roots Footie 2018/19
1967? Alfie Conn Jnr, the Rangers player was just a glint in his dad's (who was a Heart of Midlothian player from the 50's)eyes back then. Most managers from the Most Exciting League in the World would give their left testicle just to do the last 32 just once. What does a Rangers player do to become Genuine. Stick to hanging about the ironing table mate and leave Scottish football alone.tamada wrote: ↑December 20, 2020, 12:07 pmThey look "good" because Celtic are playing an absolute shocker right now, that's all.

It's like watching the Udon Thani version of Still game, big alexo must be Jack and tam is victor, we just need an navid now so we can bend the knee

Conn made his senior debut for Rangers against Dundalk in the Fairs Cup tournament in November 1968. There's about a dozen autographs from their other under 21 and youth team members in my wee book.AlexO wrote: ↑December 20, 2020, 3:26 pm1967? Re: Grass Roots Footie 2020/21
Fort William off to a flying start last weekend with an impressive 0-10 home loss to league leaders Brora Rangers.
Meanwhile, Peterhead's brief 2-game winning streak ended with a draw at home to Montrose mid-week.
Accrington face Doncaster tomorrow with a win putting them in the promotion zone at the top of a very tight League One leadership battle.
