Visa Exchange to New Passport

I just received my new passport and need to have my Non Imm 'O' visa transferred into it. Does anyone know if there is any paperwork I need to fill in for this to happen, how much this will cost and if the office in the AEK can do it for me, if it's still open that is.

As I remember,you just take it to the closet Immigration office and they will transfer,stamp and sign your current visas!
I don't remember there being any hassles or problems at all!

Yes they will transfer your visa...not a problem...Don't forget to also have them transfer your re-entry permit...

When I had to do that in 2000, my embassy gave me a letter to present to Thai Immigration.
The letter stated something to the effect "please extend all courtesy to........."

Have proof that it is your passport. Receipts etc if renewed in your home country or a letter from your embassy in BKK if renewed there. Nong Khai are very pedantic about it. They filled 2 pages in my new passport with stamps - WTF :shock:

Edit: Easy form to fill in and costs nothing accept for their tea money to do a bit of photo copying for you. #-o

When processing my extension in Feb. this year they took it upon themselves to transfer data from cancelled passport to new passport. As the Dero said a simple form and copy charges. When I applied for a re-entry a few months later they still insisted on seeing the original visa in my old passport.
