Visit to Thailand for brother's wedding soon- need info

Hi all:

I am so sorry to hear about the flooding you are experiencing. We just went through a bad flood in the spring and many of us are still cleaning up.

We are planning to be landing in Bangkok on November 15th. We will be in Udon Thani on the 19th, then to Koh Samui on the 22nd.

The flood sounds bad. Do you think it is safe for us to come? Is it possible the flooding might subside within the next 3 -4 weeks? It sounds like Udon and its surrounding areas are right in the path of the floodgates?

Since coming in a months time and officially the rainy season finishes at the end of this month, I think you should have no problems.Presumably flying up here than taking a VIP bus on the 19th November.
Udon has been lucky to miss most of the problems from the typhoons/storms that were coming in from the East.Have not heard of any probelms regarding floods in Samui so you should all have a good time
