The Voice of America, Ban Dung, will accept bids for a variety of merchandise on an "AS-IS WHERE-IS” basis. The property will be sold in 8 individual lots (you're not buying an individual piece of equipment, rather, you are buying a variety of equipment grouped together in a 'lot'.)
The terms for the sale, as well as the contents of the individual lots, are contained in the attachments.
The sale is open to anyone....Thai or not.
My 2 baht worth: Many years ago, the VOA held such a sale. The lot, containing a variety of American-sized refrigerators, washers, stoves, etc. was bought by a Thai man who subsequently sold the contents of the lot individually. I bought a 'used' Whirlpool washing machine for 4000 baht and paid 1000 baht to have it serviced and repaired (??pump hoses or something??). The full-sized washer served us well for about 8 years. One friend bought a stove for his home and another bought a stove for his bar/restaurant. Both worked fine without any needed repairs. You may have such luck, and you may not. Please read the terms and conditions of the sale.
I hold no interest in this sale. I am merely posting the information for the general public.
