well if its good enough for our aussie neighbours across the ditch to blurt about Australia Day, then us Kiwi's might as well stand up, and state that today is Waitangi Day. The day to celebrate our countries birth as a nation 170yrs ago. So get the flags out my cuzzie bro, from Waiheke Island, and other places around the country, or overseas..

They must all be too busy celebrating to post on here or since most of the Country live here in Oz their too tired after Australia Day

I see today is a year to the day regarding Black Saturday, and the Aussie Bush fires tradegy of last year..My mate next door, on our little island of 700 people, is the Rural Fire Chief, and he led a team of us fellas over there last year to help out, so we are remembering that today, and alongwith Waitangi Day, so our thoughts are with you in that regard.
