So now I got my first time experinces in Udon Thani also, had a great time there! Next year gonna stay longer and find out more. In the end I choosed to stay in a hotel called Karen, that was very nice and cheap, just 400 Baht (without breakfast). The biggest problem was to find a hotel where I could pay for use the swimming pool. Forgot the name of nice hotel near Complex but they had a pool but only for the guests.

Thanks for the tip! But after read that thread then it just confirms that it is not so easy to find a good place to swim at. At least there seems to be few of them. In , lets say Chiang Mai itดs very easy to find lot of hotels where I can pay a smaller amount to use the pool.

Mr janptr

If you really want to save money do what I do.
We have a fish pond in the village and I go and swim in it every afternoon with all the village people and you get to have barbecue fish afterwards and its free! They wont even charge you for the sticky rice!

I never thought about that, Thanks :!: Actually this is not about money, I just mention Chiang Mai how easy to find there. Myself are always staying in Prince Hotel and they have a nice pool. But I just had a hope that it would be more to choose between in Udon but now I understand that it is quite limited compared to other places. Anyway Im already looking forward to next stay there, with or without swimmingpool.
