What's wrong with the 22nd of June?

Long distance relationships, mixed relationships etc...

What's wrong with the 22nd of June?

Postby lynxlynx » November 26, 2007, 9:31 pm

I was born on the 22nd of June. I never noticed anything special or particulary interesting about the date - until it was scrutinized by the Thai numerologs and fortune tellers. In the past not so distant, I had a number of Internet conversations with several Thai ladies. Everything was fine and we seemed to progressing towards something (not sure what but nevermind) until I was asked to disclose my date of birth. They did like a lot that I was born in the year of DOG, but upon consultations with their numerologs and fortune tellers, they quickly cut off any ties with me, stating that there is a problem with my birth date - as if it were cursed. Obviously, there is nothing wrong with the 21st of June or the 23rd of June, which I offered as my birth date the next time, having learned my lesson with the 22nd June date.

Beats me.

That is an easy one lynxlynx! If you were born in the West on the 22nd,that would be the 23rd here.So you can tell them you were born on June 23

Hihi. Yes I could, but what if I actually managed to establish a relationship worth taking my chances and they would find out about my scam later on (... was born at 1pm, which still leaves me in the 22nd in Thailand)? That could be the deal breaker even at some more advanced stage of the relationship. I am not sure whether to laugh or cry about their obsession with the parantural, but I know it cannot be ignored. Can you bribe a fortune teller? :D

I used to go out when nobody was around and move all the little people figures in the spirit house...
Play into thier fears ...mess with thier heads. ( but nicely of course..)
I loaded her on the 'ol Vespa one night and started driving outta town.."Where go tiirak, to the liver??" "Nope honey, we are gunna go find us some ghosts out in the country baby! " " If I keep the headlights on, who knows, maybe we can even wound one and take it back home"
She would turn pale...( no whitener needed now )

She ( and THEM, the fam )...never bring it up around me anymore and I have noticed that the paranormal activities have decreased since the little family in the spirit house was pissed at them and was moving around showing the displeasure of them acting like fools. Of course the spirits talked through the falang because I speaky true!!!!

I just love 'em :D

The number 22

http://www.ofesite.com/spirit/numerology/path22.htm

Failing that....it might be because you are born in the year of the "Dog"
Superstition is a very high priority here so if the birth signs and numbers match your wife will do everything possible to keep you both together 8)
If they dont match......keep going to different fortune tellers until you get the right answer that pleases her!...they all come up with something different
