where can I buy garden equipment?

Postby oldfield » July 16, 2008, 3:45 pm

Can anyone recommend somewhere to buy garden furniture/ equipment etc. like fences, posts, gates, bird baths, ponds etc. etc.

I have been to Global House and Homemart and they only really sell stuff for...wait for it...the house.

Is there a good place for outside stuff???

Cheers

Try the many garden/plant centres around the outskirts of town, some near Tesco's or head up Nong Khai route for 10 + kilomets, and spotted some near Global over side of road, seen nice wood fixtures, ponds are usually the small concrete type and seem to come in 1 shape, better to build your own, pumps in town at the fish suppliers Wattana nuwong road.

Homepro? Never seen them that busy. Think it's because their prices are a few baht more but it's a nicer place to shop with a wide selection, IMO. Their kid redcoats can be driven away with a smile and a "mai ow, khap!". :D

Yeah, well, the kids are trying to earn a buck so I try to be nicer with them. If they persist THEN I tell them to get the fcuk out of my face! They generally don't give me any sh1t. That any better?
