Where Should I Stay?

I'll be in Udonthani for only 3 nights in November. What is the most centrally located hotel/guest house? Criteria is very close proximity to excellent Thai food (no farangski nonsense), internet, and entertainment. Not necessarily in this order. Thanks.

What type of price range are you talking about? The Charoensri Grand Royal is about as close as you can get to the action with rooms from 1,200 Bht per night but if you are looking for budget accommodation Top Mansion has rooms at 320 Bht per night. Top Mansion is clean and comfortable and conveniently located on Soi Samphan(thamid.) Same soi as Irish Clock and By Nobi's. Walking distance of "the complex" and quite a few bars on that soi. Remember the farangski restaurants can serve you good Thai food but if you want to go native you are never too far from Thai restaurants.
