Where to find fruit trees

Postby fremmel » September 9, 2007, 9:06 am

Does anyone know of a nursery within an hour or so's drive that carries various fruit trees? Preferably ones that are 2 or 3 years old? I hope to have some land by this time next year and I'd like to get a head start on my "orchard'.

On the Ring Road opposite side to Tesco about 200 metres toward Nong Bua Lamphu. I bought half a dozen Lemon and Lime in June about 2ft tall for Beer money. Dont know about advanced Trees but it's a starting point.

Thanks. I'll try it again. We bought a keffer lime tree there 3 or 4 months ago and didn't see much else but we didn't try all the different owners.

yes this place was a real good find for me last year, Soooo cheap..some real nice orchids.
Also try the garden place before Tesco's turn off at the junction on the road to Nong Khai, and if you carry on towards Nong Khai past the Bandung turn off a small place on the left right on the road...a helpful man and last time i was there he did have some larger type trees but sorry don't know what they where could of been anything i was'nt paying attention to them, but worth a quick drive out that way if all else fails.

sorry not fruit trees, but a nice photo of one of the Orchids just to bring a little colour to the Forum.
