Could anyone give me around about price of a whipper snipper,and the best place to find one

Depends what you're looking for I suppose.

Chinese made no low end, models and Black & Decker can be found at:

Higher end brand name and gas operated can be found at HomePro & Global House. Low end & BD can be found here too.

Have no idea of cost.

In the US they call them a "Weed Whacker" I believe, in the UK I have no idea. Maybe a "Paky Whacker"

for the brits the whipper snipper is a strimmer and the the machines that run on gas do not use butane but petrol. some months ago a thread was started about long knecks, this term meant something to the poster but i suspect that most of us had no idea what a long kneck is.

Makita one is about 8000thb,or was when i bought mine,but you can get other makes a lot cheaper.
