Women like beer bellies and hairy chests

WOMEN prefer "real men" like Daniel Craig to preening metrosexuals like Ronaldo, it emerged today.

Girls lust after "manly" men complete with beer bellies, messy hair and hairy chests, a report revealed.

And in great news for guys who like a pint or two — the study revealed one in ten women actually LIKE the smell of beer on a man.

The poll found men like 'winker' Ronaldo and former team-mate Rio Ferdinand, who wear tight shorts and flowers in their hair have taken "metrosexuality" too far — making them unattractive to millions of women.

It also emerged that one in ten women don't mind their lads having "moobs" — as long as they're not too big — and a fifth find "a bit of body odour" appealing.

Yesterday a spokesman for Lion Bar Ice Cream, which polled 5,192 women, said: "This is great news for real men this summer

"They can get their roar back and ditch the moisturiser, manicures and tight shorts this summer - leave that for the footballers.

"British blokes can also wear their Speedos with pride, even if they have a bit of belly and welcome the wolf whistles as they walk down the beach."

The study found women 80 per cent of women now find a string of metrosexuals traits and fashions "complete turn-offs".

Among the traits women disliked were men who straighten their hair, guys who drink cocktails beside the pool and blokes who spend all day sunbathing on holiday.

Tight shorts, sarongs and flowers are also frowned upon.
