World Bank sees no progress on Thai corruption

It is an interesting situation, this is how things have been done here for years. From the articles I've read it doesn't really bother the Thai's, just business a usual. Those of us that came from places that this is not common, are frustrated by it.

Will business's invest in Thailand it would be a major change if they don't

From reading the above it seems that corruption has progressed: The payment of tea money has increased much faster than inflation.

Hey, I got a bargain! Paid 500 baht TM at the Land Dept. and was moved to the front of the queue! Such a deal! :lol:
