Is there any update on this topic?
I have back problems and like to discuss this with a good Chiropractor.
When Udon don't have it. Are there other places than Bangkok?

I have not heard of any chiropractors outside of CM and BK.Pattaya had one years ago that passed, but I have not heard of a replacement.I have used three in Bangkok,of which 2 were satisfactory and both easy to get to from the skytrain stations of Asoke or Thong Lor !
As I have posted before,I take the overnight train (for being able to position myself to lessen pain),Taxi or subway to the BTS stations of either Asoke ,for Dr.Don,or Thong Lor,for Dr.Oat.

Hi all
Sorry for the late reply and update, just got back from Oz after 4 weeks there.
Ok, I haven't given up hope on luring a Chiro to Udon as yet, although it is proving difficult to entice the right guy.
I have been to see my Chiro at D-Spine in BKK many times and he is seriously considering it, however he is under contract for a while longer with that company now. No, not quite sure how long his contract is for. I have detailed him on the amount of farang in Udon and the surrounding areas. With a few calculations and words of encouragement I suggested he could earn a reasonable income, if it was for only 1 week a month. Although non-comittal, I strongly beleive he is considering it seriously.
Yes, he is registered from Minnesota I beleive. I can assure you that after a treatment there, I feel great.
The treatment includes, some elctro acupunture, heat massage and adjustment. The fee I pay is 1800 baht per visit but they do have a plan where you can buy a package of 10 treatments. If we don't get a chiro here soon, that's what I'll subscribe to next time.
If anyone wants to put out an SOS on any forums in your home countries asking for a chiropractor seeking part-time retirement with income in Thailand to come here then go ahead.
I haven't given up yet..........I'll keep the pressure on him!!!
Cheers

Came across this advert on the side of the road caddy-corner from Little Italian restaurant. No idea how long the sign has been there nor do I have any other details.

My back is telling me I'm overdue. Please post a report if anyone gets there before me. Massage sham or the real deal? Qualifications, experience, staff, services, costs, etc., etc.

Having used a Chiro in the UK for many years following a serious back op some 20 years ago, some were good and one or two were excellent.

The fact that a person may or may not be a professional chiropractor does not mean they are in fact any good. However after searching here through many massage parlours some offering more than was required of course and some were just plain crap, there were one or two who not only took the time to ascertain the problem but could also deal with the problem in a sensitive and practical way .

There are many ladies and men out there who do actually give a good massage and in fact many are found in Non Prajak, not saying that all are but you have seek and find the one person that not only gives a good massage but also understands your needs, not a simple task but in the end worthwhile.

Following my back op the one thing the surgeon said to me was listen to your back, 90% of the time it seizes up after long periods of gardening and even sitting at the computor , it seizes up to the extent that it can interfere with my breathing as the back attempts to go into spasm, this then takes a effort to react in calm way and release the tension not with pills but with gentle exercise.

These exercises were taught to me by a fully qualified physio at Stoke Mandeville Hospital in the UK the centre for spinal injuiries, they work, after that it then takes later in the day a full relaxing massage to finally ease the stress/tension in the muscles.

While a Chiro is sometimes needed for some injuries, I feel after 10 years here that with the warm weather ( most of the time ) and lack of stress i would no longer need one, added to that unless I knew a lot about the person I would not trust him a bad Chiropractor would do more harm than good.
A fully qualified Chiropodist would be more welcome though

Yes, I would love a chiropractor to set up shop in Udon Thani.I have been using chiro care and massage for 25 yrs in America for a continuing back problem.

My wife(Thai) and I will retire to Udon in 2-3 yrs and I definitely need chiro care minimum 2 times a month as well as massage.

I've been to D-Spine on Soi 24 BKK and the doctors were good but more expensive than here in US but since I really need chiro adjustments on a regular basis I really hope one will come to Udon Thani soon. I'll pay whatever the fee is to feel OK.

Thanks for trying to bring Chiro care to Udon !!

I noticed a sign for a chiropractor the other day.
As you come into town from the old Big C take the first U-turn. When you are at right angle to the traffic look across the waste land in front of you and the sign is about 100yards from the road.

If you drive back to where the office is located you might have second thoughts about using this "chiropractor". He/she may be the real deal but after seeing the office I decided to just keep on going. The office is located in a row of low-rent apartments that have certainly seen better days. Not saying he/she is not a qualified doctor, just that the surroundings are a bit seedy.

I was suffering from only a slight backache that I got while fishing. Decided a good massage would be a better option. I think it was. Back to normal after a couple of hours of massage. I'd be interested to know if anyone has used this "chiropractor" and what the results were.
