Yes the pink ball test in Adelaide will be a really interesting. No longer, taxes, death and runs in Adelaide like it used to be. Whoever wins the toss or can manipulate bowling with a new ball in the evening session will be at a definite advantage. Anderson and Broad with a new pink nut with 90 minutes to go in the night session could see a 63 or worse/ better all over again. Same with Stark, Hazlewood and Cummings.
Also Statts no convicts down here in Victoria. The dregs of Britain were strictly sent to NSW and Tassie.

More batting practice for the England lads. No real hurry in the run rate so just using the time to get their eye in.
The devilish plan by CA to let them think they are on form might work come Brisbane.

On or in don't matter. But your lads are certainly playing themselves in against some very young Aussies trying their best to take a few international scalps. We'll see how in form your bowlers are tomorrow.
I think Broad will be the weak link this tour.

Scores at the end of day 2....
England 293 (Malan 63,Stoneman 61,Root 58) and 5-0
Cricket Australia XI 233-9 dec (Paine 52,Milenko 50)

Bad news for England with pace bowler,Jake Ball, adding to their injury worries with a sprained ankle.

England like 'kittens' without Stokes

England will look like "kittens" without all-rounder Ben Stokes in the Ashes in Australia, says West Indies legend Sir Viv Richards.
Stokes will not take part in the Ashes "as it stands" after he was involved in an incident outside a nightclub in Bristol in September.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

from the couple of pics i've seen marjamlew, perhaps referring to both sides as "BRUCETTES" rather than "Sheilas" would be more appropriate :-&

Im waiting for the first Trangender cricketer to bowl over the opposition

Most likely a Pom, as she would generally miss hers.

Umpires call for new Ball and the fielders go crazy

Now Now Statts, Ellyse Perry, who is currently 70 not out in Australia's reply of 177 for 5 - 103 in arrears of England's fist innings score of 280, isn't a bad sort for a Brucette.
