Im waiting for the first Trangender cricketer to bowl over the opposition

Most likely a Pom, as she would generally miss hers.

Umpires call for new Ball and the fielders go crazy

Now Now Statts, Ellyse Perry, who is currently 70 not out in Australia's reply of 177 for 5 - 103 in arrears of England's fist innings score of 280, isn't a bad sort for a Brucette.

While I've been watching the girls today I believe that 17 wickets fell on day three in the Adelaide tour match. Looking forward to Zid's summation tomorrow.

Been delayed with his reply Arjarn, he is in transit to Oz, to top up the Poms bowling attack.

Good morning from Adelaide ;)
A quite extraordinary days play yesterday with so many wickets falling.England made a decent enough start with 79 for the first wicket but then inexplicably collapsed from 121-3 to 124-7.If a second rate Aussie attack can do this to them, what chance against Starc and co ? :(
Bairstow was top scorer with 61 not out and Stoneman made 51.Milenko took 5-34 for Cricket Australia.
But England struggles were nothing compared to the Australians who soon found themselves at 25-7 :badteeth: with Woakes,in particular, running through the batting order taking 4-17 off 10 overs.
A stubborn, unbroken stand of 45 took Cricket Australia to 70-7 at the close but you would expect England to wrap up a comfortable victory today.......better make the most of it as it might be the only one of the tour ! 8-[
England 293 and 207-9
Cricket Australia XI 233-9 dec and 70-7
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

You were correct Zid, it didn't last long - 5 runs infact.
Anderson taking the last 2..
In the Test, Australia look to be heading towards a decent first innings lead as they now have a lead with 4 remaining...

So far on this gentlemen s thread , apart from Barney and Arjarn Jamyalew we dont really have many confident members who really are committing to a series win.

Im one of them, I just dont see us batting against Anderson very well, If I see a reverse sweep shot from anyone !! i will check bin from the Sports Bar.

This T20 crap is still in there niggling away , and crazy shots when your just getting your eye in is not acceptable.

Lyon might grab a few and Starc is on fire, BUT....

Wouldn't be too worried about Anderson at the Gabba. 90 and 105 - One of those numbers is Anderson's bowling average in Brisbane and the other is Bradman's batting average there.
That good looking sheila is 167 not out at dinner in the sheila's game. Aussie 7 - 374

Looking at the Sheffield Shield games today there are not to many state players putting their hand up to be chosen for the test team.
Both openers under consideration failed, Kawaja has made a claim for perhaps no3.
Cameron Bancroft may be the dark horse and has made a late charge for the keeping spot, problem is he is seen as a part time keeper. But his batting is his strongest point and those runs may outweigh his lack of long term keeping skills. He has played in England for Gloucestershire.

Cameron Bancroft was Gloucestershire's overseas player for the early part of 2016 but he didn't have much of a great time with them - 1 innings over 50 in 5 matches.
However he must have fitted in well enough with the team as he was invited back this year - this time for the whole season. Again not an awe inspired time, apart from 1 knock of over 200 against Kent.. That got him to 4th. in their batting stats at 40.26. He also topped Gloucester stats for batting in the 20/20 contest. But Gloucestershire were pretty shocking in that competition as is his average of just 29.8 shows :D
I don't think he kept in the Gloucester side at all - South African Gareth Roderick usually takes that role..

Thanks Bob, I hadn't seen his stats for his time in England. He's only 23 or 24 now so would have been younger when first in England.
In our domestic comp so far he started off slow with a couple of scores near 20, then against my NSW team who have the entire current Aussie pace attack he got 76 and 86. Now today he is on 161 NO in WA's first Innings with a few overs to go today. Runs on the board may count for nothing though as per some of the past aussie selectors choices.
But as you say he did get a double ton in Kent but not quite in the class of another young Aussie who did the same years before. I think his name was Bradman.

Later Bradman also got some good scores in the 1938 tour of England.
An English quote below.

This was Bradman’s first tour as Captain and it was an outstanding one. On tour he scored thirteen first-class hundreds and finished with averages of 108.50 in the Tests and 115.66 after 26 innings in all other first-class games.
In a total of 32 innings he scored 2863 runs.

maybe keeper for the ODIs and 20 20 crap.

We need a keeper thats going to twist and turn according to how Lyons flicks em down. Cant afford to have Byes as leading the pommie batting average.

1 dropped regulation or even a 50/50 catch , Root on 5 goes on to make 219 and set up the Poms first test win at Brissie.

Do the Marshes keep / LOL
