maybe keeper for the ODIs and 20 20 crap.

We need a keeper thats going to twist and turn according to how Lyons flicks em down. Cant afford to have Byes as leading the pommie batting average.

1 dropped regulation or even a 50/50 catch , Root on 5 goes on to make 219 and set up the Poms first test win at Brissie.

Do the Marshes keep / LOL

You will need to be minted to have a brew at The Adelaide Oval for The Ashes.

Sorry to disappoint you Wazza. I would never get or spread the rhetoric that often dribbles from the mouths of the left leaning ABC.
Use a much more international news service

Chris Woakes took six of the nine Cricket Australia XI wickets to fall on day one of England’s final tour match ahead of next week’s Ashes opener.

Sadly the rest of the bowling & fielding side rather made a hash of it, with dropped catches & inconsistent length.
Mind you those cheating Australian ***** have deliberately prepared pitches for the warm up games that will bear no semblance to what will be prepared for the Tests.. :D

Good ne Bob

The Aussies have been found out again, and naturally the only country to prepare pitches to suit the homeboys.

Ha, ha Barney in England you don't need to fix the pitches - just rely on the weather & fix the toss... :D

I thought this was interesting with the best part being Sir Geoffrey's analysis of himself - particularly as non of his co- commentators put him in their teams!!

Close - England lead Cricket Australia XI by 87 runs with 7 wickets remaining
The hosts out for 250.
Good opening stand between Cook & Stoneman of 172, but I don't think the pitch offered a great deal to the fielding side..
Root, not out 62 & Malan, not out 57 will continue in the morning...

Englands selectors have put out an urgent SOS for anyone with knowledge of the whereabouts of Alan Knott. Seems that they are desperate to cover all shock moves from the Aussie selectors :-"

" If the Aussies are going to let their keeper use a zimmer frame behind the stumps, that brings Alan Knott back into the reckoning"
