That happened to me once, and the IO tried to lay a 1,000 baht fine on me. I argued that there is no more thorough "reporting" than the process of extending your stay -- which I did a week earlier. How could that possibly not be construed as "reporting" of domicile? I reported with photos, all my documents, my family and 2 witnesses. But, he argued, because the IO failed to update my report date, the fine was legitimate. MY fault. Thankfully, the chickenhead was overruled by the IO who failed to include a new report date with the new extension.

I went in 30 days early to do my last visa extension but didn't get a "90-day-report-reminder" slip this time.
Is the report due 90 days from the date I got the extension or 90 days from the effective date of the extension?
The 90 day report time has no relationship to you extension or renewal of the extension.

Yes it is in the same building and run by the same people but no time connection. So your current 90 day report is 90 days since you last reported.

The only time that their could be a connection is if either of your 2 visits is within the reporting time limits and you choose to report while you are visiting for the extension.

And yes it is confusing but TIT.

Thanks STWW.
I thought getting the extension was equivalent to a 90 day report. Just looked at the Imm website and that's true only for the first extension.

Explained here: https://www.immigration.go.th/content/sv_90day

Guess I'll be going into the Imm office Monday with hat in hand (and 2000 baht in my pocket).

If you don't need a receipt, you might only need ฿1,000 baht. Don't ask me how I know. :)

stww

I've just checked the website is working OK at the moment. What problems do you have.

That is almost certainly not because it's Saturday. I can virtually guarantee that the details you are entering do not match the information in the immigration database. You may be adding spaces where there are none or leaving them out. I don't know what they match on but do know that they do match on incomplete passport data, I left out one of my given names and it was good to go.

If there is a mismatch you will get that message as I did a few months ago. You will not get a message telling you where the mismatch is or that there is a mismatch as that would be a security hole. You will just not get screen 2. And the message "go directly to immigration do not pass Go do not collect £200" :D or something a bit different :D

I found that when I used the information they have on their computer there was no problem.

i filled it in exactly as last time , mostly using auto fill ,and was granted the report ,just done exactly the same ,submitted first page , white screen , so filled it out again manually , and hey pesto boom , white screen , this is my last day , in the time frame , so will have to go Udon , bit a of shopping , Immigration , and the a few scoops on the way back ,,,,,,,,,how did you know what info they have on their computer ,without looking at it , ??

I checked the printout they gave me, and tried things like adding spaces, or leaving no spaces, and also leaving blanks, made sure to use the dropdown menus if available.

The new guy got his own system. The 90 day report runs from 90 day to 90 day even if there is a renewal in between. Saves him time. They should not have removed the old slip at renewal.

??????

Mine is not 90 days, it is 76 days

The 90 day report has always been on a 90 day period.
The first extension of stay has previously counted as a 90 day report.
Subsequent extensions of stay have never counted as a 90 day report.
90 day reports online have been 90 days from the report date

I did an online app for my 90day.........first time I've done it........got a confirmation of receipt which I promptly (mistakenly) did not record. Today I got my email confirmation that the 90 day is approved. But I can't verify because I don't have the application confirmation number. I'm thinking I'll have to go to the office to have the 90 day report printed out. Anyone have any other ideas?

Never mind.......I was able to retrieve the on line approval by the alternate method, tab b. Enter passport number, date of birth and nationality.
I applied for both myself and my wife on Thursday last week. Received confirmation this morning by email. One less trip to Udon.
I was not able to apply using Chrome......so used my backup browser, Microsoft Edge.

Just had an Email from agency BKK. Seems they noticed my post on Face book concerning New Visa applications!

For your retirement visa renewal
At the moment ,We charge 24,000 THB (case by case) and if you wish to get a multiple entry is more 4,000 THB

We do NOT require bank balance
We do NOT require pension
We SPONSOR all your requirements
We only need passport + photos, we are agency, and can get it done.

We can process in 3-7 business days (case by case).

We can service you in three ways for an extension

1) You come to our BKK office, and hand me your passport
2) If you are already in BKK we can send one of our couriers to pickup/drop off your passport.
3) You MAIL/EMS your passport to our BKK officeJust had an Email J

If you do it yourself legally, yes.

you can not however brown envelopes can change things.

The problem with that is the recipients of the brown envelopes may get caught then you have a very big problem.

90 day online report AGAIN
Thought i'd give it a try after all the problems last time , ,wont work on google chrome ,
Went through Internet explorer , page unavailable , several attempts ,
I'm thick when it comes to pushing buttons ,
Chrome again then back to inet explorer , i noticed on the unavailable screen , a fckin little Bronav.com ,WTF , so into uninstall programes /apps etc , it's nowhere to be found , back to screen just delete it , Ha all the bells and whistles online now works ,success application pending ,
everytime i open up inet explorer the Bronav.com appears , advice needed to get shut of it ,this has obviously caused all the problems over the last year ,
Cheers in advance ,
