Hi, and what I like about Politics or the Political Leaders, is that it is and they are, a great Divider. It/they tend to separate the Sheep from the Wolves. :-k

On one hand you have the outspoken................. Political leaders and on the other you have those who are aligned to a Politically correct form of messaging to the people. I don’t see any on the world stage, who fit in the middle ground, at this time

Whilst most of the names are taken mainly from the G20 Countrie, a few more have been added for affect, of those who appear to be shaping the World Politics and or their respective Domestic Politics and those who also seem to attract most of the attention from the World Media are, :-s :-s

Abe, Shinzo (Japan)
Ader, Janor (Hungary)
Arden, Jacinda (New Zealand)
Duterte, Rodrigo (Philippine)
Kim Jong un (North Korea)
Lee Hsien Loong (Singapore)
Macron, Emmanuel (France)
Erdogan (Turkey)
Nieto, Enrique (Mexico)
MBS (KSA)
Macri Mauricio (Argentina)
Marino, Brey (Spain)
May, Teresa (United Kingdom)
Merkel, Angela (Germany)
Modi, Narendra (India)
Morrison, Scott (Australia)
Muhammad..Maktum (UAE)
Netanyahu, Binyamin (Israel)
Putin, Vladimir (Russia)
Renzi, Matteo (Italy)
Rousseff, Dilma (Brazil)
Trudeau, Justin (Canada)
Trump, Donald (USA)
Vazquez, Tabare (Uruguay)
Xi Jinping (China)

Have left South Korea and South Africa out from the G20 list, as its unlikely anyone knows who their Political leaders are and I don't see any others outside this list that might “Leave a Footprint in the Sand” during their Tenure, but I could be wrong. Names taken from Link: https://www.geni.com/projects/Current-W ... aders/6177.

Some of these people will leave a legacy of what they stood for, what they actually did and or what they tried to do for their respective Counties, whereas others will simply fade away into oblivion, never to be thought of again.

Group 1: Like it or lump it, but you will or might remember Trump, Xi Jinping, Putin, May, Abe, Morrison, Ader and maybe one or two more, for the decisions/directions, in their time.
Group 2: It unlikely that you will remember any of these, Trudeau, Macron, Merkel, Arden, Nieto, Marino, Renzi, Rousseff, for what they never did.

Those who will have made a difference on the World/their Country platforms, are likely to have come from Group 1. Whether you agree with that difference, for the better or the worst, is your own personal prerogative.

I may not agree with all of the Group 1 Leaders - Policies/Decisions and the like and or what they advocate for all of the time, but do I prefer have Group 1 running the show, rather than a bunch of Group 2's. =; [-(

I presume this is a Forum where one can express ones views, with a reasonable degree of Decorum and Civility \:D/ \:D/

Just my 2 cents worth

PS: I had nothing better to do today, but to "Surf the internet and get paid to do it"  \:D/ \:D/

That's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.

Hmmmm?

"Footprint in the Sand"

Angela Merkel - 4 term Chancellor of Germany (the 4th or 5th largest world economy) since 2005, and defacto leader of the EU.

Scott Morrison - "un-elected" Prime Minister of Australia (13th largest economy) since August 2018, after deposing an "elected" Prime Minister, and a very good chance of being chucked out in 3 months time.

I have given you my thoughts on what has happened to the forum so it is up to you if your happy to carry on the way it is or change direction. There's little point going round and round blaming posters or accusing who posted this who posted that. As Papafarang say's no one gets a look in these day's so someone needs to look at this and improve it.As for me and this is just my opinion I will not withdraw my membership but due to the Americanisation of the site iv'e decided to take a back seat and see what changes will be made if any.

Dear Peter,.. it is Peter isn't it?

I've never been stalked online by a raging homophobe. Thanks for the experience.

How old are you anyway? Oh, never mind... age doesn't equate with maturity, especially in your case.

Are you bringing your dad to the fight behind the bike sheds as well?

...that's assuming you knew who he was of course.

Now bugger off and grow up you narrow-minded, sad little last-word f*ckwit. You're getting boring.

Footprint in the Sand: I think it is derived from the Bible (but then again I am not Religious), although some credit the phrase to a Poem, composed my Mary Stevenson

I gave no religious connotation to the saying.

My understanding is "leaving a mark on history". Perhaps I am wrong in that.

Re. I gave no religious connotation to the saying: Neither did I. [-o<

I suppose the four Words can mean a number of different things to any individual, but yes "leaving a mark on history" or even stretching it to mean "contributing to change for the right reasons", is an appropriate understanding from my point of view \:D/

I am only surfing today, because I get paid to do it =D>

Pay no attention to the faults of others,Things done or left undone by others.

Consider only what,by oneself,is done or left undone.

No listing of Prime Minister Moon Jae-In of South Korea? He might just get a peace deal from the North Koreans which would allow the U.S. forces to decamp from South Korea totally... That would be a significant event...

I prefer the oddball threads reflecting how whacko Thailand and life can be. They're probably crowded out a little on udontrump but that's hardly the end of the world.

I try not to get involved much in the Trump threads. I find their religiosity a bit of a turn off.

You've raised an interesting thread here Vlad.
