Looking at the run home it appears the mighty blues will be under the pump to win many more, but hopeful will be a spoiler for certain teams hoping to cruise through a victory.

Our best bet and hope is to grab a huge end of season win in rd 23 to gain some confidence and lead us into 2018. That may squash that other teams final 8 aspirations.

Woke up with a sore head, went to the Palmy Concert in UD and get a free Chang Tower.

looked at that " individual Hit " again today, 6 weeks.

Lots of debate as usual on having a send off rule, where the player and the team are penalised

Swans were the only ones penalised.

The game has moved on from a few thugs in the past ... Chitty Chitty Bang Bang,

Two close ones Lew unfortunately for both teams scray by 7 blues by 9 which in my opinion is not bad for the blues against the crows.

Dogs were spiritless Macca. Haven't been able to find the passion and desire that served us well last year. Oh well just have to hope for the best for the rest of the season and see if anything can be salvaged.

Well a few upsets again, making the tipsters pull their hair out.

Bit quiet on the footy front. You all know my excuse. Cheered myself up watching Collingwood get done this arvo and am having a good giggle at the Tiges. Not gonna miss much at home spending September in Thailand this year. Spare bed going here GF weekend if you need it Wazza.

Why we kick bag loads of points. Wont beat top 4 sides with that.

Mr Ed kicks straighter.

Buckley has a shed load of memes already......

Pope drops Pell . As will Eddie dropping Bucks.

Apparently Eddie's coming home from the G20 Summit Early..........

"There can be no turning back from here. Eddie McGuire will return from overseas in coming days knowing that the most difficult decision of his near-two decade reign as Collingwood president is staring him and his board squarely in the face. There can be no other conclusion after the Pies slumped to their fourth loss in a row, with their heaviest defeat of the season, a 37-point loss to traditional rivals Essendon marred by dire ball use and moments of serious ill-discipline. The Pies are mired in the bottom four with seven rounds to play, and the screws of Nathan Buckley's seemingly doomed coaching tenure are being tightened"

Paul Roos to coach collingwood?
I think Buckley will survive the season,Eddie and G.Pert should accept his resignation around round 18.
Surely times up for McGuire now as well.
Round 18 closing in.
Roos hovering.

The Swans field of dreams for 2017 will be tested in the next month, GWS, Hawthorn, Geelong, Freemantle then Adelaide followed by Carlton Should their current form hold and win 4 of the last 6 they will have done a Houdini and figure prominently in the finals. Wazza, hopefully you will be freeing up your travel schedule come September. Love them or hate them, the swans are an excitement machine when in full flight.

TT

thats my point or put simply, the number of points we are kicking.... horrendous !!

For me the glass is still half empty , call me a skeptic / cynic but 4 wins in the next 6 is going to be a challenge !!!

Im home all Sept , expecting Arjarn Marlewjam to buy a few Boags in Udon for a session

If body language is anything to go by, the swans had their flat spot at the start of the season and now they have adopted a hunter mentality. It is fantastic to see 'buddy get genuinely excited for the deeds of the rookie swans in the team. Yes they are scoring points and buddy's output is well down but the team depth has that aspect covered. I am starting to think that Richmond's hold on 4 position is under attack and hopefully will fall our way by season's end.

2 - bannana dribble that wasnt a fluke

Got a Tigers mate and he is worried already judging on his call the other day

Interesting game for the swannies this weekend against the polyester and cotton mob (they are only half plastic with that injury list) :D Just gotta worry about making the 8 as the bye takes away some of the advantage of finishing top 4. We're playing rubbish atm and will go in underdogs against the blues but I'd be happy to sneak into 8th as our sept/oct form is pretty good.

Wazza,
you should stand in the naughty corner for doubting the bloods, they still have a hard row home but their depth with Cunningham and Laidler to return, the future is looking brighter by the game.
