Not sure what is exactly in an American breakfast, does it differ much from a continental or English brekky, but I would suggest BK for an almost 100% original American breakfast....maybe 50%
But they use Australian beef.

Where I grew up, near Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri, it was largely populated by folks of German descent. Pork scrapple was a breakfast favorite. My father in law was of German heritage and made wonderful scrapple. I still use his recipe. Scrapple is popular in the Pennsylvania Dutch / Amish regions of the States as well.

The many breakfasts I've had at, Papa Z's, have been the best American breakfasts in my 14 years, Udon.
~ What I understand to be true... and know tastes great.
American pancake mix; I believe... Hungry Jack brand.
American biscuit mix; I believe... Pillsbury brand.
Great thick sausage gravy.
Great home made style fried potatoes.
Jimmy Dean sausage patties most often, great links, as well.
Good Bacon/ham...
Eggs, the way you like 'em.
The list goes on.. but in 'my opinion' that's plenty to make for a super great 'American' breakfast.
Hungry just thinking about it...

The American breakfast I am looking for variously includes eggs cooked to order (over easy, sunny side up, scrambled, etc.), hash browns, home fries, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, sausage patties, streaky bacon, SoS.

...and absolutely NO bloody baked beans!!!

Maybe some time well after Songkran then.

11 AM a bit late for breakfast.

I am pretty sure that neither will serve biscuits and gravy.
