Learn something new every day, if you take picture in portrait then tilt the top of the camera to the right for a landscape pic the photo goes upside down when you post it on line.but looks the right way up in the files

Sport well done

Called in late to watch Australia's greatest game, 87,000 at The G

Highlights

Jimmy from Gourmet Meats turned up even later and started watching the delayed AFL telecast, I having seen it 20 mins, earlier, an umpires video call on a touched goal, earnt me $ 3 Million AUD on the bet, !!! cutting that out at Gourmet Meats over the next few years no doubt.

PS

The ham sandwiches were still going off when I got there, had to show the NRL guys how to turn the sandwich maker on, to toast them.

Thank you very much for all that attended, it turned out a great day for the ANZACs. Also thank you to the Thai Army personnel for attending. Some nice photos there Kal (Aussie Boy), the only one was that awkward was the Hawks supporter sitting by himself pondering if they will have another win this season.

The staff and volunteers did a fantastic job on the day, thank you. Yep those ham and corned beef sandwiches went down well, thanks Jimmy UGM, bad luck for the Magpies. Hey Waz, the NRL boys were just testing your abilities as a AFL supporter, they knew the complicated mechanism's of the toaster, and you managed to get it right LOL mate.

Again a big thanks to:-
John from Birmingham, 4000B donation.
Jimmy, Gourmet Meats, 7 kg leg of ham.
Wazza, 1500B donation.
Grevious, large bottle of Bundaberg OP rum, 58% alcohol.

Hope to see you all in 2018,
Rob.

Just wanted to say Thanks too Rob and team.
As one of the few Kiwi's to attend, and surrounded by ruddy Aussie's, it can be hell at times, but as usual I was still made welcome, as is our way, even off the field, and even if my reclusive nature had me hanging mostly in the background. You did us Kiwis proud too Rob,in the compiling of the eulogy ( for want of a better word ) and read out by a young serving Aussie soldier. When ones mind drifts off to times long ago, as mind did, then Rob you have achieved the purpose of the day. loved the grub too Mate, well done Digger
