Zids, socksy or someone should arrest you for that "photo" of Hillary.

I read up on US immigration on wikipedia Lonestar. You overlooked racial prejudice being a driver of US immigration policy. My country would be similar - keep non-whites and at times non-WASPs out. The US southern border problem has been around for 50+ years in the US.

The "markets" seem to consider Drumpf's chances of winning very low. They seem to get anxious about Brexit but not about Drumpf. It seems increasingly obvious that Drumpf winning is going to be an absolute disaster. Just as well China is currently an economic basket case.

I think the markets are under-estimating Drumpf. I think he can damage Hillary and he will. Nevertheless I still pick Hillary as a comfortable winner. I acknowledge that I have got the occasional forecast incorrect in my life. :D

I think prejudice hurt my country, New Zealand, really badly. We should have taken many Asians many many decades ago. I suspect the US would have benefited doing that too.

I have never really understood why the US didn't sort out its southern border problem. Presumably too many people or too many important people benefit from those sneaking across the border to make the feds too keen to close it.

On a rational level Drumpf seems to be stumbling but I think there's some doubt whether his whistling will adversely affect him on election day. I think the Democrats under-estimate him at their peril. He's undoubtedly first class entertainment. I think it's very bad form though to talk up Putin and Kim Hairdo.

I think the best label for him is populist. He doesn't have much in common with the establishment conservatives such as Paul Ryan.

Border protection is not racism, it is realism. When a country refuses to protect it's borders and ignores laws about deporting illegal immigrants, it is stomping on the rights of its citizens. American government has been doing that since the 50's. It is too bad that American citizens have awoken too late to do anything about it. The entitlement class, along with the starry eyed liberals, now outnumbers the real taxpayers. It is very hard to get someone good for America's future when you have to get voters to give away the freebies that the socialists have given them.

I've been accused of wearing rose-colored glasses (I guess that means I'm not racist). When I read news like that at
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/02/scien ... enter.html
it makes me wonder what all the fuss about Make America Great Again is.

And for all the talk about loss of jobs, wonder why no one talks about the 30k US jobs at google, 200k jobs at Amazon, 9k at Yahoo, 5k at SpaceX, 13k at Tesla, Oracle 136k......just a few examples of higher paying tech jobs in the US.

Wonder why no one talks about an average of approximately 1,000 jobs per state over 7 years?

The current administration is still making economic history that is bad, bad, bad.

Part 1 of 2.

GDP (Gross Domestic Product) is the only real determinate of economic growth. Barack Obama is the only president in the history of America to preside over seven straight years of GDP growth under 3 percent.

(Sources linked within the link)
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/04 ... ear-3-gdp/

The White House economists just announced that GDP for Obama’s last year will be 1.9 percent. Obama will therefore become the only president in America’s history to never produce a single year of 3 percent or higher GDP. Even Herbert Hoover outperformed Obama!

(Sources linked within the link)
http://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2016/04 ... ear-3-gdp/

The longest previous streak of under 3 percent GDP in the history of America was four years (1930 to 1933) during the depths of the Great Depression.

(Sources named within the link)
http://www.realclearmarkets.com/article ... 01987.html

From 1790 to 2000, America’s economy averaged GDP growth of 3.79 percent. Obama’s eight years are on pace to average GDP of 1.55 percent — substantially less than half of our country’s average economic growth for 210 years.

(Sources named within the link)
http://www.realclearmarkets.com/article ... 01987.html

Even worse, GDP for Obama’s entire time as President was just downgraded by Obama's own Commerce Department by more than $300 billion.

Yep.

Obama's Justice Department has protected Sanctuary Cities that violate federal immigration law and harbor illegal aliens, and they sue border states that apprehend illegal aliens for apprehending them and create state laws to protect the citizens of those states. That will not end with H.Clinton.

It would be a shame to report the news (that illegals are voting for Obama or Clinton) without reporting a somewhat truer version of the news.

Is that the same IB Times that employs immigrant students to translate the news into other languages and working illegally for less than minimum wage? If so, it would cause me to doubt anything that they publish regarding immigration without sources other than ABC and Fusion. :D

Additionally, there is no question that Obama uses a different method of categorizing his immigration stops and deportations (most presidents do), just like he does with his labor statistics and unemployment.

Makes you wonder why if illegal aliens are so important to catch and deport, why Obama wants to include them in welfare, food stamps, ObamaCare and every government program imaginable. And then on top of it all, ten Sanctuary cities were awarded with over $340 million from the Justice Department, which is supposed to be going after cities that aid and abet illegals. The ten that got the money are the largest cities and biggest offenders, but there are over 300 sanctuary areas in the US.

http://cis.org/Sanctuary-Cities-Map

Makes you wonder ... :-"

But if their information is correct, Obama better get cracking. There are about 15 million+ more to apprehend and deport.

Part 2 of 2

For the first time in American history, more businesses are being destroyed each day than are being created.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/won ... g-created/

There are 70 percent more Americans collecting entitlement checks than working in the private sector (148 million “takers” vs. 86 million “makers”). This is a fact provided by the U.S. Census Bureau.
http://www.cnsnews.com/commentary/teren ... fit-takers

Thirteen of the 23 Obamacare State Co-Op Exchanges have failed (gone bust and broke). The remaining 10 have losses of over $200 million per year. The $1.24 billion of federal start-up money used to start them all is most probably gone forever. It will never be repaid.
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-06-0 ... ave-failed

In this Obama economy, 40 percent of American workers now earn less (adjusted for inflation) than a full-time minimum wage worker in 1968.
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2013-08-0 ... nimum-wage

Some 20 percent of U.S. families don’t have a single member who is employed:
http://endoftheamericandream.com/archiv ... unemployed

A record number of Americans are not in the workforce (over 94 million):
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-06-0 ... ember-2010

More Young Americans now live with their parents than at any time since Great Depression.
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-05-2 ... depression

43 percent of the 22 million student loan borrowers aren’t making any loan payments.
http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-04-0 ... e-payments

Two thirds of Americans don’t have $500 for an emergency bill.
http://www.cbsnews.com/news/most-americ ... rise-bill/

Food stamp use under Obama is up by 43 percent.
http://www.factcheck.org/2016/01/obamas ... 16-update/

The number of new food stamp recipients under Obama is 3 times higher than new job recipients (13,298,000 added to food stamp rolls vs 4,276,000 new jobs since January 2009).
http://www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter ... d-stamp-r/

The middle class has shrunk in nine out of every ten U.S. cities.
http://bigstory.ap.org/article/d23b0485 ... -us-cities

For the first time in almost a half century, the middle class is no longer the economic majority in America. Pew reported the middle class is “disappearing” and “hollowing out.”

How ironic that Trump may be taken down by Muslim immigrants from Pakistan whose son was killed in Iraq.

nah, I don't think the media can continue to beat up that one for too much longer.. Remember, the attention span of the American public is gnat-like.. Some other "crisis'emergency" or newsworthy event will bludgeon those stories off the air and the electorate will gnaw on the new stuff for a while and totally forget the rest... Lucky for Hillary that Trump loves the taste of his own feet since he's constantly putting them in his mouth... It's deflecting attention from her blatant lying as evidenced by the Chris Wallace interview where she stated that FBI Director Comey found her truthful and trustworthy in her statements.. Of course, she leaves out the rest where Comey was referring to her several hour interview with the FBI and not her multiple lies to the American people throughout the e-mail saga.. Even the Washington Post gave her 4 Pinnochios on that one....... No worries though since Trump's continual out of control blathering allows the media to ignore Hillary....

Parrot; after reading the following, you may reflect "ironic" doesn't begin to describe the situation. :-k
"Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely" , comes to mind. :(

" Breitbart News and other new media have exposed Khan’s various deep political and legal connections to the Clintons—and to Muslim migration—the attack line has crumbled. Now, with Khan deleting his website in an apparent effort to hide his biographical information, the attack is falling apart even more.
What’s perhaps interesting is that also on this website that he has now deleted, Khan revealed that he spent nearly a decade working for the mega-D.C. law firm Hogan & Hartson—now Hogan Lovells LLP—which connects him directly with the government of Saudi Arabia and the Clintons themselves. Saudi Arabia, which has retained the firm that Khan worked at for years, has donated between $10 million and $25 million to the Clinton Foundation. Hillary Clinton, despite the repeated urging of Trump, has refused to return the Clinton Cash money to the Saudis. What’s more, Hogan Lovells also did Hillary Clinton’s taxes—and helped acquire the patents for parts of the technology she used in crafting her illicit home-brew email server that the FBI director called “extremely careless” in handling classified information.
What’s more, the entire mainstream has proven negligence with regard to this matter as none of them even thought to look into this Khan guy’s law practice before bandying him about as some kind of magic elixir that cures the country of Trump. Begs the question: Why not?"

It's a big Kahn Game. The narrative is falling apart. 8)

There are several things wrong with Kahn's attack, and none of them have much to do with his connections to Saudi Arabia or his belief that Sharia Law should supercede the US Constitution.

1. His son's death by Muslims was a great loss, but what does Trump have to do with that? He was against the war in Iraq.

2. The Kahns were at the convention for one reason only: to launch an unfair attack on Trump that did not state Trump's policy beliefs regarding Muslim immigration.

3. Once the Kahns involved themselves in this attack, there is no immunity involved in fact-checking statements or their partisan connection to the Clintons. Now he is begging to get out of the mix since he has been exposed.

4. Kahn asked about Trump's "sacrifice". What about Hillary's sacrifice? No mention of that.

5. Kahn purposely misrepresented the immigration policy of Trump. He has asked for a temporary ban until the process can be sorted out and immigrants properly vetted, particularly from Muslim countries high on the terror watch list.

6. Trump's comments resulted from the Syrian migration issue that was created under Obama's and Clinton's watch. ISIS has admitted that they are using it to import terrorists. Even Obama's FBI says that they cannot properly vet the migrants. There are no records on them. Nothing in Trump's proposal affects Kahn or any patriotic, assimilated American Muslim.

7. In the Constitution, POTUS has the full legal authority to block any group or person from entering the country for whatever time period designated. Immigrants are not US citizens and have no Constitutional right to enter or to remain. There are no constitutional issues regarding Trump’s proposed ban on Muslim immigrants, but Khan attacks Trump for not reading the Constitution.

8. Despite his reverence for the Constitution, Khan has not questioned the constitutionality of the Iraq War, which Hillary supported and his son died in.

9. Kahn's candidate has used him to help her hide behind her "nothing" resume'. Clinton never made the sacrificies that Kahn chastised Trump over, and she profited financially from her public service. That shows massive disrespect to Capt. Kahn.
