hey all you Bubba Burger lovers... If you've got the time drop in and see Dennis.. He's in the Ruam Nam Jai wing of the Udon Provincial Hospital in Room 7... I think his only English channel on the 14 inch TV on the wall is Fox News.. He'd rather yak it up with anybody visiting!

Is this Udon General Hospital or a totally different place.If so where is it ? cheers

Apologies Dennis as I cant make it to the hospital to visit, am on the island in the ocean right now for a while longer

Went with the wife to see Dennis yesterday, took him some Mince pies and Turkish Delight from Papa Farangs so that raised his spirits, He has had his operation on his leg and has a steel plate inserted so restricted to bedrest. With this in mind we cancelled our marathon run indefinitely

Well, BB&G has served up it's last burger. It has been a good run. Far more successful than we could have anticipated. We've had many loyal customers, some of whome have become very good friends. I'm sure those relationships will continue outside the business. We got a generous offer for the contents and someone has taken over our lease. There are no plans to continue the business as a restaurant.

As many of you know I had a motorbike accident resulting in a badly broken ankle and fractured fibula. It required surgery to install a metal plate. I'm in for a long recovery period. Jun has been wonderful. Thank God I have her to take care of me, but none the less it is quite scary being 100% dependant on someone.

I wont be posting/viewing much until we get Internet service moved to the house.

Take care everyone...especially when you're on a motorbike, and a MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

it was indeed a good run Dennis.. You developed a large and loyal clientele and got a lot of walk-ins from your website ratings.. Sad to see Bubba's go... One of my favorites!!

I visited Bubba yesterday and he is doing really well. He came home on Tuesday and is in very good spirits. He cannot put weight on his foot for 6 weeks, so no dancing etc for quite a while.

He is waiting for internet access to be installed at his home, so he will not be posting much until then.

Jun is taking very good care of him and he is very lucky.

Give him a call sometime, he might enjoy the conversation.

Wow..i just read this, sorry about your accident Dennis and i hope your making a speedy recovery, also so sorry to hear Bubbas is no longer, one of my favorite places to go eat while in Udon..Why does everything good have to come to an end??
