i am not negative at all , and it has as before all ready mentioned, nothing to do with this shop but about all postings about anything , i joined a forum to get information , and also give information as accurate as possible and preferably including the price , or people are still in the dark ...it happens in this case ,that i know a lot about pump prices, and can advice if the price is ok or way over ...i always do a quick internet search about the item i want to buy so before i come out to shop i have a clue of the real price , and sweet talking (falang shop or not, english talking or not) me into a a buy with an outrageous price isn't with me .... , macca46 and others ? again... if people are posting about a good buy or deal , they should give complete information about this supposed deal so the readers can make up them self it is truly a bargain or not ...wouldn't you want to be warned if some one is selling at outrageous price ? (again not specific here)
i am not bashing down any one only want to give correct info as possible ...
this only to give my point of view...many times misunderstood ....good luck to all... ;)
Agree 100% nothing like being given half a story and left clueless by the end of it.being a very nice man is all well and good but that facts help.

It's impossible to give a 100% story when buying something like a pump, the variables are huge and my requirements will most likely be different to someone else's. However, when I was looking to buy some pumps, the people on here put me in touch with someone they had used and trusted, that information was worth its weight in gold. The next thing I did was went and talked to the guy that was being recommended, listened to what he had to say (he knows more about pumps than you or I), got the prices from him and took those to compare with people like Thai Watsadu, I ended up going back to him because a, the information he gave me made a lot more sense than I was given elsewhere and b, his prices were very competitive. Personally, I would take the advice off the people on here that have used a service and been satisfied with it over any online research.
The forest was shrinking daily but the trees kept voting for the axe as its handle was made of wood and they thought it was one of them.

well i have experienced and read here that some people are easily seduced by sweet talk and the urge of needing help in english and like this ending up paying way to much as it normally should be ...
but here again ,as long as you are happy and stay happy ...
btw as info for those whom need a deep well pump , we bought this one last year ..

7.500 baht , found it on internet 300 baht cheaper but chose to buy it at an udon shop(biglot) , big difference in prices though at different udon shops for the same pump... enjoy your shopping...... ;)

okay.... we have decided to go with a different company...one who was recommended by word of mouth and who completed (having taken over from another company) the UD Boutique hotel. They are currently adding a Gymnasium to St. Mary's school. As things progress I will keep people informed.

Question: the land we are building on is quite a bit higher than neighbours. To put a wall at sufficient depth would be horrendously expensive. I live in France and there I would put very large rocks to prevent the higher earth from slipping. ANy suggestions for Thailand?

build your wall not on perimeter land but 1-2 m inside , later you can walk on your land around the premises without your neighbor complaining , any waste/rain water pipes true your wall will come out on your land so again no complaints from idiot (sometimes)neighbors possible , we have done this all ready a few times , land was filled up 1.20m high
all this if your land is big enough anyway ... ;)

I have raised land.im going to have a front wall and gates then concrete posts and chain link fence at 1.2 metres high to the sides and rear and will be 1.8 metres from the outside.a lot cheaper and I'll grow up the fence.also any movement in the posts can be rectified easily.a wall is an expensive job and if it moves you'll have big problems as it'll all move.also if a monkey or two want to get over wether wall or fence they will do.plus water will just find lower land and you keep all your land,a 2 metre boundary around 1 rai is 400sqm and what with the price of land and the price of a wall.again if you leave a boundary the neighbours will just grow on it and he'll have no fury like a Thai neighbour who upset by a farang.ive got it with a farmer now on a property.they plant right up to my wall and each crop they lower their land and my wall footing is exposed.try offering them some trucks of free soil but they think I'm trying to claim their land.

Not yet...we have a little hiccup over land, as wife's parents land does not have good title, so we are looking to purchase one that has. Have a plot in mind and would redeem bank mortgage on it...BUT they need to sort out with owner (and daughter about the interest accumulated......

Hi all.

Wife and I are ready to build a bungalow (single story) in Kut Chap (about 20klm west of Udon). We are financially conservative ie not the cheapest but certainly not the best.! We would love to hear from anyone who has built any house in this area, especially if they can recommend a builder! :D We are not in a hurry, but recommendations from satisfied customers count a lot.

Im building in nong wua so.first thing, your out in the sticks and it will take longer than you think.second is cost, things may be a lot more than you anticipate anything of quality is usually imported and taxed to high heaven.third don't pay up front, you'll never see them again.as for recommending a builder.well there's a few in the uk I know but out here is a different ball game.my budget went 25% over and I'm a builder.i think the best way of having a home here is to sit back and wait and find a farang who's had enough and wants to sell up and go.ive seen people selling their property half the price they have built it for.anyway good luck and think deeply about it.

hi there, for a villas project on Koh Samui Island, we're looking for BRICKLAYERS for formwork, concrete, brickwork / white brick /, brickwork wall plastering, and also for TILE WORKERS (tiles, pavers, sandwash floor). The working period: 3 weeks of work, 1 week of a holiday. We provide an accommodation and a back way ticket (airplane, bus) from the week holiday. We'll be glad for any recommendations of a good qualified smaller company. Thanks for any reply!
