FULL-TIME

Tottenham 4-0 Watford
Well the early game certainly started end to end but Spurs found the net & reduce the Chelsea lead at the top. I think that they might face tougher opposition than Watford before season end though.

FULL-TIME

Sunderland 0-3 Manchester United
Not much of a game.
The hosts were pretty poor from the get go - United had over 70% of the game before the sending off.
With a European game on Thursday the visitors didn't exactly go at it hammer & tongs once they had the lead & then they scored again in the second half before Sunderland even touched the ball to kill the game dead.
If Sunderland survive it will be a better act than Houdini.. :D

Also on Saturday,Bournemouth 1 Chelsea 3,so Chelsea maintain there 7 point lead at the top.

Easy for United but a cracking opening goal from Ibrahimovic, though.Sunderland were awful even before the sending off.
10 points from safety with 7 games left.....no chance.....they will have to probably win 6 of those for a chance of survival.
But,looking on the bright side, there will still be a NE derby next season with Middlesborough !

Leicester had one eye on Wednesday nights Champions League quarter final away at Atletico Madrid which explains the much changed team they fielded last night.
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Crystal Palace 3-0 Arsenal
Bad blow for The Gunners while a great result for Palace.
The home side are now 6 points away from danger of the drop, having played a game less than Swansea.
The Gunners remain in 6th. place, 3 points behind United & 7 behind 4th. placed Citi, although they do have a game in hand on them.
The weekend was full of rumour of Arsene being offered a 2 year deal, you have to wonder what effect no European competition would have on that - even if that situation has properly helped Chelsea this season.. :D

Actually,Alan, surprisingly its you who is talking rubbish ! :badteeth:
Leicester didn't play first choice defenders Simpson,Morgan and Fuchs.
Also first choice midfielders Mahrez and Ndidi were missing, although Mahrez came on as a sub with 30 minutes to play.
Regular forward starter recently,Okazaki, wasnt in the squad either.

So that's 6 regulars missing.....hardly a "NORMAL" team is it ??

This from the BBC report on the game.......

"But Leicester, much changed before Wednesday's Champions League quarter-final at Atletico Madrid, never looked comfortable.
Lukaku drilled in from close range after the interval and the withdrawal of the bright Demarai Gray and striker Jamie Vardy seemed to signal Leicester's attentions turning towards Europe."
Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.
