He may end up in China?

stattointhailand wrote:News leaked from last nights enquiry by the predictorleague committee seems to suggest that a SEVEN (7) point addition will be made to Mat80's score. Committee chairthing Statto commented that after taking into account that the first round of matches had already taken place a TWO (2) pt addition was deemed to be fair to the rest of the competitors who ALL got their selections in BEFORE a ball had been kicked. League secretary Statto added that given the number of transfers made or revealed during that extra week a further FIVE (5) pt addition was to be made.
The league tables are currently being scrutinised by the FIFA fair play team and their completely unbiased results are expected to be revealed later today
I am off to Phuket tis evening, for some much needed R&R. Intend to post my summary of the season , upon my return, but provide my advance warning that, in essence, I agree with 747 that the deciding factor, enabling Chelsea to become EPL Champions, was MONEY!
Meantime, I think Bob Helm, Zidine &, (to a lesser extent this season), Stattointhailand, deserve a huge vote of thanks for their valuable contributions to this thread. =D> =D>
As to the scurrilous, corrupt and self serving actions being taken against me by ChairTHING, ( :-s ), Statto and ands his secret committee, I shall have to give some serious thought to the nature of the retribution I should cause to be visited upon them [-X

The Blunderland job is made for Zola :-k

He's already proved he can provide the level of results that the Sunderland faithful are used to :-"

Sam Allardyce resigns as Crystal Palace manager after five months
http://www.bbc.com/sport/football/40021059
"I have no ambitions to take another job," Allardyce said in a statement.
Bit of a shock, to me, at least. Maybe Brian has some inside knowledge of issues??

No, Bob, a surprise to me and I'm not aware of any 'background' at this time. If Allardyce's explanation is true and we don't find him off soon to manage Yingyong United for some astronomical figure, good luck to him in realising there's more in life than football and remembering his family. There were a couple of interviews when the team was under the greatest pressure, when I did think he looked stressed, perhaps not surprisingly. Well, at least football managers at the top level have enough dosh to do the things he's talked about.
Rarely dull at the Palace. More happens there in 10 years than in 100 at other clubs.
Who now? It can't be Moyes, can it? 8-[

Thanks Brian.
It almost seems that he wanted a throw at 'redemption' after the England fiasco. Having achieved that by keeping Palace in the Premiership & upholding his record of never being relegated maybe he thought it was time for a rethink.
I see
Only Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, Harry Redknapp and David Moyes have managed more games in the Premier League.
so no one can deny it might be time to stop.. :D

I don't think Mr. Moyes stands much of a chance at any of the jobs in the Premiership & Championship that are floating around now. The club certainly need to get on with it as soon as possible to try & keep what they have there & bring in some more depth as well..

Might be the right time/right job for Chris Coleman to return to club football :-k

Time to jump ship from the taffs before it all goes pearshaped.

They can give the Taff job to Giggsy and then blame his lack of experience for not qualifying.

If CC doesn't return to Club footie very soon his only options when he finally gets sacked will be to manage Thailand or Saudi Arabia or Jordan or the like :-&

"Wayne Rooney has at least two £50m offers from China to consider as his Manchester United career draws to a close, but has his heart set on a return to former club Everton". (Daily Mail)

Well I suppose that explains why Rom, Ross Barkley etc want out :-"

OR

scenario 2 ........

Rooney turns up at first training session
747's taxi screeches round the corner to see the event
Brakes fail on cab and he runs Rooney down putting him in hospital for a few days and out of action for the season
Kenwright is horror struck until he remembers the insurance policy,
Everton use the money to buy a couple of mediocre players and finish mid table.
Kenwright pockets a nice little earner
Rooney never has to run the gauntlet of pie throwers
747 gets a bit part in corrie and a brown paper bag with enough to cover his Nongers electric billl for a couple of weeks
Everyone lives happily ever after \:D/

No thanks mate, I don't gamble, the misses loses enough for both of us

BTW, with the likes of Burnley, Watford, Stoke, Bournemouth, Huddersfield, Brighton, Swansea, Palace and probably Leicester all in there, surely you must think they can make "mid table" dont you? :-"
