From Sky ......
"
"MINA NEEDS CONSISTENCY'
Everton manager Marco Silva has warned defender Yerry Mina he needs to become more consistent in training if the Colombian hopes to establish himself as a first-team regular.
He said: "What I ask to see from him is more consistency at Finch Farm. The first thing I hope is to see Yerry Mina working every day until the end of the season.
"His first season in the Premier League is completely different to everything that he had in his career playing in Colombia and after in Brazil and after in one club like Barcelona. Everything is completely different with what is happening in the Premier League.
"But he can get to be a really important player for us. We believe in him and we spent the money on him because we believed in that moment he could be a very good solution for us."
Strange I would have thought that being inconsistent would allow him to fit in perfectly

The only one deluded on here is you. Do Liverpool fans believe they can possibly win the league? Yes of course they do and with good reason. In case you missed it they are top of the table. Yes one more game played but the onus falls on City to regain top spot. You think City fans are 100% confident they can go back and stay?
Anyone with half a clue about football will know City can blow it and this Liverpool team can win the league. Maybe, maybe not... Time will tell.
The only thing we know for sure is you will never know how it feels. You'll still be here posting your crappy out-dated childish pics no matter who wins.

'ang on guys ..... credit where credits due ....... Everton will be introducing a "SINGING SECTION" next season in auntie Gladys's bit of the stadium (only taken them a hundred and how many years ) will make a real change from the usual "hear a pin drop" section Rumours are that they will roughen up the seat edges to provide additional splinters for the descant section

EVERTON COULD CASH IN ON PICKFORD
Jordan Pickford faces a fight for his future with Everton considering flogging the England No 1 for £50m and replacing him with Burnley's Nick Pope for £10m, reports The Sun.
The England international has made a league-high nine mistakes leading to goals this season.
And he's found himself in a bit of trouble with manager Marco Silva, who's 'not happy' with the 'keeper after he was allegedly involved in a street fracas.
Surely that is sell PRICKFORD for 10m (3 times what he is worth) and buy Pope for 50m (figures based on recent Everton transfer business)

Stats does not read any UK paper due to most local newsagents not stocking them. I do however read the "Paper review" on sky which covers ALL National and local papers. If you refuse to read A & B and always read C & D you will always end up with a very biased viewpoint (see comments by some of our colonial cousins on other threads)
Re: English Premier League 2018/19
Liverpool legend,Tommy Smith, who was an inegral part of the clubs success in the 60,s and 70,s has died aged 74.
Amongst his many achievements for the club was scoring in their first European Cup Final success.
