Thank f**k for that statts... now we can get back to 'pool bashing.

"The additional issue for Sturridge, who has made 12 appearances for Liverpool this season, is that his contract expires at the end of the season and there has been no word from the Reds about whether he is likely to get another."

With the (relative) bargain-basement 13 m Shaqiri banging them in, yesterday's 3 m Sturridge is already looking at being further put out to EPL pasture.

'pool bashing ...

That sounds like a good idea. It keeps the thread ticking over rather nicely and give posters excellent opportunities to insult each other. That's what these kinds of forums are for? 8)

^ With Fellaini's new 'do' and everyone's favorite uncle Claudio Ranieri coming back to try and pull Fulham's bacon out of the fire, things are looking up in the EPL.

I bet Fulham odds are bigger than 5000/1 to win this year's league. I see Sturrage is getting help from the local technical college to wean him off the betting. He's learning how to remove tyres off of a car quicker than Ferrari seemly a Liverpool speciality career

That would take some doing, wouldn,t it be easier quicker and more cost effective to take the wheels with tyres attached???? he would probably break a finger doing it anyway :D

Cardiff were on the brink of sliding out of the old First Division the last time they came to Goodison Park for a League game, more than half a century ago.

A thumping 8-3 victory for Everton that day - on April 28, 1962 - condemned them to relegation and it would take them more than 50 years to secure a return to English football’s top flight. And I Was Rhere on the day,Aged 13 Years

They are back at Goodison on Saturday - and in danger of the drop once more.

and for those who (like Sky sports) prefer their footie on a football field rather than a choccy bar it would be Spuds v Chelski, which is their chosen game to be rescheduled thus enabling everyone to watch

Unfortunately thats incorrect.Everton played Cardiff at home in the English Premier League on 15 March 2014 and won 2-1,so you would be in your late 60,s then, not 13 ! :D
