My take on it was this.......
The players and officials lined up and the crowd was silent for between 20-30 seconds (there was no loudspeaker announcement or referees whistle that I was aware of ).
Then there was a loudspeaker announcement that said something about the sad event in Manchester and people started singing, shouting and clapping !
I thought when there was the loudspeaker announcement the fans thought the minutes silence was up (when it didn't seem to have officially started) hence the noise, all at once, but it was a bit of a shambles.
I don't think there was meant to be anything disrespectful and at the end of the game both sets of fans and neutrals were chanting "Manchester,Manchester" in a show of support.
The fans of both teams seemed to have got on well before and after the match and theres no mention on the United fans forum of there being any bother.

Just when I thought our chance had passed, you go and save the best for last.

Well that is the final club fixture of the season over & not much surprise that it went to Real.Saturday 3rd June 2017
UEFA Champions League - Final
Juventus 1-4 Real Madrid
Juve were considered y some to be the favourites going into the final. They had been parsimonious in defence this season & especially in this competition, keeping a clean sheet in 2 legs against Barcelona is no simple task.
They started the game brightly enough but then fell behind to, no surprise, a Ronaldo goal. However they fought back well & went into the break all square. The second half was all Real though & they went 2 goals ahead before the game was finished as a competition when Juve had a man sent off with 6 minutes to play.
Highly successful season for Real & their manager. It will be interesting to see what changes happen to the squad before next season kicks off!!
